Good evening (somewhere in the world). Here is the second and to my knowledge final volume of the Taito history VHS series from 1990. As with so many of these tapes, I sure wish I had known about these VHS tapes back when I was covering the Famicom ports of these games! But it's still a cool thing to have ripped and uploaded all the same.

The History of Video Games: Volume II Taito Corporation - VHS rip

A high-definition VHS tape rip of the second volume of Scitron & Art's "The History of Video Games" series about the arcade games of Taito. Narrated by George Nakata, this a video tape (originally released in 1990) does something groundbreaking by looking into the medium's past to explore the impact of these vintage Taito creations. Again, it's cool that people cared about the medium's origins even that far back—and cared enough to spend money to learn more. Also, this includes the official Taito-authorized word on how to pronounce "Qix", so you can stop "correcting" me on that one. 0:45 - Intro 1:41 - Crazy Balloon 3:40 - Balloon Bomber 5:46 - Polaris 7:27 - Qix 9:39 - Space Seeker 12:19 - Birdie King 14:30 - Wild Western 17:31 - Time Tunnel 19:56 - Space Cruiser 23:12 - Front Line 26:44 - Elevator Action
