Quick question - comment sorting (Patreon)

Hey guys, quick question - do any of you remember there being a feature on Patreon posts that allowed you to sort the comments on the post by the number of likes they have?

E.g. on a voting post, like this one, the post suggests to "click "popular" to sort topics by votes, rather than by time". The "popular" button used to be a button in grey text on the upper-right - but now the button seems to be gone.

I'm having a bizarre email conversation with Patreon support, who insist that the "popular" button never existed. Which is pretty weird, because I remember using the button many times on voting posts - it was how I knew which video topic won the vote.

Do any of you guys remember that "popular" button, ever use it on voting posts ? Or am I going mad? Please do let me know (:

I remember them being sorted like that automatically but maybe I'm losing my mind too

I've never been able to find it but assumed it was due to viewing on mobile

Yeah it was never on mobile, just desktop I get the impression that very few Patrons interact with this Patreon on their desktop - most just use mobile or get the emails Should do a little survey at some point to work it out (:

I know that option exists on YouTube, but in all of your qna videos you went chronologically.

I also remember it! I sorted by popular to decide which topic would get my vote most of the time. I didn't want to vote for the clear front runner in most cases.

Yeah true, I did the Q&As chronologically - but for the voting posts I definitely sorted the comments by likes, that was how I knew which topic won

Yes! I sorted your earlier voting posts that way. I spent a long time trying to remember how I did that during your last vote and couldn't figure it out. I'm glad to know I'm not crazy.

that button was there, i remember using it to find u'r posts for votings multiple times

Thanks for vouching for my sanity, everyone! Patreon has now acknowledged that the feature did exist, though sadly it doesn't sound like it's coming back. Might have to find a new way to conduct votes...
