Another great livestream Shift! Only thing i was thinking that I hadnt heard was the similarities between Cersie killing Ellaria and her daughter to the Mad King killing Rickard and Brandon...not exactly the same..but..

Apologies in advance for this terribly long comment. Thank you for keeping up the pace of a livestream and a video each week about the episodes. There were plenty of comments about you taking too long to release your episode review. Usually I'd say everyone has a point but they can go spit. Your videos are worth waiting for. There is a plethora of GoT/ASOIAF YouTubers. If you want a quick review go watch someone else who doesn't bother with quality. There's plenty of them who will feed a viewer's righteous nerd rage and plenty who will fanboy/girl over every witty Tyrion quote and gory scene. I don't watch Alt Shift for the generic gut reactions. I actually quit watching the show during season 5. I lost interest. I hit a rut. The thoughtfulness of the season 6 videos on Alt Shift brought me back into the fandom. I don't even remember where I found them now, but they were lovely. They were a balance a criticism, praise, and well timed jokes. The editing absolutely blew me away. I bought season 6 to watch because of them. I hadn't bothered watching it until this year. I really like other channels but they're not anywhere near the quality and style of this. Thank you sincerely for the passion and time you put into all your videos. Maybe it was the bleakness of the Sansa chapter you read but you sounded a bit burnt out. I love that you've been posting the Alt Schwift videos each week. Though I have to say you were entirely wrong about technological tangents being boring. Really mate, I can't imagine having the time with the fast paced schedule you keep up during the season. So again just more mindless fan praise I guess, mate. I didn't mean to word vomit, but I wanted to say it's awesome mate. Mate you really used mate a mighty amount of mates in your joffleberry/Sansa conversation.

I’m a new supporter. I signed up here because I wanted to support your channel, and thought the possibility of getting access to the videos a bit early would be nice. BUT I have to say I was really, really impressed and delighted that you do a livestream Monday nights after the show, answering our questions and even incorporating our feedback into the videos. I might not be that observant, and I know (now that I checked) you did mention the livestream after your S7E01 video, but I don’t think you did for S7E02 Explained. Just going off of what Stephanie said about people complaining about your videos taking too long, I think some people like to whine no matter what, but some might have no idea about the livestream. I didn’t, but it has been the perfect spacing for me with the show, livestream, and then an explained video later on in the week. I am NOT saying you should make the livestream free (really, $1 is not that much). I guess I’m just saying don’t feel shy about advertising it more as a reward for becoming a Patreon, or to clarify what that means (I was happy to see that you can still get access to the livestream video, even if I couldn’t watch it live.) Anyway, thanks to you and your team for making great quality videos. I’m sure even if you don’t advertise it more, us fans (including me) will let others know. And that is probably the best advertising anyway :)
