The Jaime video is taking shape – the script is drafted, and the design is coming together. Should take about a week to hammer down the details and produce the final vid.

It's looking to be about 16 minutes long, quite a bit shorter than its twin, the Cersei video. I think this is partly because Jaime's thoughts and feelings tend to be more implicit and indirect than Cersei's. Cersei's POV is a maelstrom of complex emotions over power, gender, prophecy and politics – and Cersei has no qualms about expressing these feelings. But Jaime usually avoids his deepest feelings, concealing them with irony or aggression... the Harrenhal bath scene might be the only time Jaime ever directly confronts his true, raw emotions. So Jaime's arc is less intricate than Cersei's, I think – painted with broader strokes. But it's no less a compelling story. A huge amount of research, writing and production work has gone into this – can't wait to get the video online for you guys (:

And yeah, we're not getting distracted by Mother or Westworld or anything else – will save those for early next year.

I'm just guessing, Westeros doesn't have Christmas because the seasons are all messed up and the Faith of the Seven wouldn't allow it

I guess whomever becomes Azor Ahai might become their Christ-like figure? Maybe after he or she sacrifices themselves, or saves the world, the saved will henceforth celebrate their name-day? Then the good people of Westeros and Essos can chop down heart trees, give gifts, and eat and drink in excess like Bob Baratheon at an all-you-can-eat buffet!

It would be super adorable if Westeros all started celebrating Jonsmas together after Jon saves the world (:

Birth of Christ aside - in my part of the world (wiking land) Christmas or Yule was originally a celebration of the winter solstice and the fact that now the light will come back and the days will be longer again. But I guess when you don't know how long winter will be it is difficult to celebrate mid winter ;) (And yeah, I know for you upside down people it is all different ... )

Carols would ring throughout the land! 'O Weirwood Tree', 'Twinkle, Twinkle, Bloody Star', and everybody's favorite 'O Little Town of Winterfell'.... Good times....

You'll have to join the SchwiftySquwad to see that. Which of course you should :)

I would get that artwork tattooed across my forehead, if only there was space for more tattoos there
