Westworld and Bloodraven (Patreon)

The Patron topic vote is done, and the winner is Bloodraven. (How many votes does Lord Bloodraven have? One hundred votes, and one). Bloodraven is Brynden Rivers – the three-eyed crow, the greenseer, ex-Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch, Hand of the King and Master of Whisperers, bastard son of King Aegon the Unworthy. Soldier, lover, creepy-ass sorcerer… and possibly the most mysterious character in the series. It’s going to be a heap of fun to tell his backstory, and speculate on his role with Bran (and Euron?) and the wider mystical fight for the world of ice and fire. Looking to tackle this video in February.

For now, we’re working on a big Westworld video. It’s been really cool to dive deep into a non-GOT tv show – and challenging, to analyse a series without a bunch of books to rely on. But I’m pleased with the script so far – it lays out Westworld's convoluted storyline, highlights the cool themes and ideas, and gets at the heart of its (very bleak) message. The video will be out for Patrons in about a week or so. After Westworld, I’d like to do another, shorter video before starting on Bloodraven – maybe a quick analysis of the movie Mother (which is already mostly written), or a short GOT video (maybe the idea that Robb Stark may have died twice due to warging into Grey Wind. Or the story of Nettles and the Burned Men?) Sound off in the comments what short GOT vid you’d like to see!

For $5+ Patrons, we’ll hold the monthly livestream/Q&A this week – so come and chat Westworld, Bloodraven, and whatever else you guys want to discuss! Date TBA.

So yeah, keen for the videos ahead – Westworld, Bloodraven, and some other cool lil vid (:

Cheers
