S8E01 video coming, and 1M subscribers! (Patreon)

It's been a couple years since we did weekly Game of Thrones episode breakdowns. And in that time, Alt Shift X videos have become more in-depth, more polished, more labor-intensive. It's tricky getting back into the frantic one-week cycle.

But I'm not too worried about rushing the videos out. We recently hit one million subscribers on YouTube, and the Patreon has grown. Thanks to your support, we're not as reliant on snatching up all the YouTube clicks ASAP. We can take the time to think things through, and make sure each video is done right. That's kinda the whole point of Alt Shift X.

The S8E01 Explained video will be pretty long, around 18 minutes. We go into detail on the new opening sequence, talk about some cool theories and prophecy, all the callbacks and reunions... you'll dig it. Expect it'll be done in a day or two.

I'm aiming to finish the next couple of episode breakdowns faster – hopefully before the Friday. The last few S8 episodes will be movie-length monsters though, so they might take longer.. and no doubt the series finale will take at least a week to process. But yeah, they'll be done once they're done well. GOT S8E01 vid coming soon!
