I want to use this design as a sort of a sigil for the wildlings. It's based on the image that the HBO Viewer's Guide uses, a mammoth skull – but to me it looks more like a dog's nose or something. So I dunno – does it look like a mammoth skull to you? Should I use it in the video? And if not, what would make a better symbol for the wildlings?

I like the idea of a Mammoth skull, but that looks like a dog nose with a curly moustache.

"Like so much else, heraldry ended at the Wall." But I like the Mammoth skull. It's simple, as a sigil needs to be. And I think it does look like a mammoth skull. I didn't see the dog nose until you mentioned it.

Now that you say it, it does look like a smiling dog. Though i did initially only see the Mammoth skull until i read what you see in it. I think it'd probably be fine. I don't think the Wildlings use a Sigil in the books so if you can't deal with the "dogs nose" then maybe you could use flat black images of crude armaments like an axe, spear, flail or a bow and a shield, arranged in a way that could work as a sigil? Would be more representative for the Free Folk than a Mammoth's skull to me, but hey who am i to argue with the show. :D Other than that, maybe a Horn if that doesn't conflict with other sigils.

I have no opinion on the matter, but it looks like the villain's moustache as he's tying the woman to the train tracks to me.

I see a mammoth skull, but I agree with others that it resembles a dog's face or a villain mustache. Perhaps adding eye sockets? A wee bit more detail to distinguish it as a mammoth.

Mammoth was the first thing I thought of when I saw it. I'd say it's a fitting symbol for the wildlings

For what it's worth I agree, a mammoth skull and a good symbol for Wildlings....its striking and unique. Hard to associate any group of peeps with a mammoth other than the Wildlings.
