Great video; one of your best. Some really interesting ideas. I remember another Youtuber suggested that when Queen Alysanne had the right of First Night ended, that might have diminished the supply of bastards to be 'offered' through the black gate. I guess that would fit with your ideas. Also, my original thought - in line with what you say about the Others building the Wall - was that what they wanted was the wildlings and the Watch out of the north. But they've basically achieved that now. So I guess their motivation goes further than that. Anyway, you've provided meaty food for thought, as always. Thanks!

It would be funny if the Others just stopped their advance, after having pushed all humans from the lands beyond the Wall... but yeah, they do seem to want something more... I'm glad you liked it!

Thanks for all the great videos. The part about the Grey Waste being connected to the Land of Always Winter really intrigued me. I would love to hear more about the geography, especially the lands that aren't really covered in the novels or television series. I read The World of Ice and Fire before I even started the novels!

Sorry I missed this comment! Generally, I think I'll let the videos stand, simply because I think viewers would rather have a whole new video on a new topic than just an update. If anything really game-changing happens, though, then I guess it may be worth making an update. The release of TWOW is going to change everything, I imagine...
