I've got a draft script complete, and now I'm playing around with After Effects, trying to decide if I should try to make the video in this powerful, but unfamiliar software. Doing a non-ASOIAF vid is a great opportunity to experiment a bit and try new things, but it's daunting to leave my old, familiar software... We'll see how it goes. Either way, this should be a fun, short video, with lots of pretty visuals and a nice flowy script (:

Use of interesting new software can be a great aid. I'm all for experimentation so long as you remember that it wasn't glitzy graphics or complex visuals which drew supporters to your videos. It was the way you examine your chosen topic: your keen insights brought to light using clear, intelligent language and references to available evidence. That's what we love about your videos -- though your dulcet baritone voice also helps. Keep that in mind, and I'm sure you'll make an excellent offering.

Thanks Linsel. My main goal is always clear communication and critical analysis, not fancy graphics. But ideally, I'd like to achieve both (:
