Dunk & Egg, His Dark Materials (Patreon)

The winner of the Patron vote is Dunk & Egg – so our next video will follow the adventures of Ser Dunk and Prince Egg as they travel Westeros, 100 years before ASOIAF. I’m not sure yet if we’ll cover all three novellas in one big video, or just cover the first story, The Hedge Knight. These stories have some great cameos and interconnections with the present story – and important insights into the Targaryens, Blackfyres, and more…

We’re also making a video about His Dark Materials – comparing the first episode of the TV show with the books, and the movie. We attempted a similar video last year, but now that Season 2 is approaching, now’s a good time to make it happen. We could potentially make a whole bunch of His Dark Materials videos, if you’re keen.

Since the disaster and religion video was received so positively, I’m also thinking about more non-fiction videos. Not sure what they'll be about – but maybe another topic that compares current events to history, myth and pop culture…
