Explaining why Mance Rayder seeks the Horn of Winter – he wants to bring the wildlings south to save them from the Others, but the Night's Watch won't let him through the Wall...

Hopefully we'll find out more about the conflict between the wildlings and the Others – it must have been crazy, with "The giants ... the Thenns, the ice river clans, [and] the Hornfoots" trying to defend their homes from the white walkers... Maybe we need a prequel miniseries with Ygritte as the protagonist (:
