Alt Shift X videos tend to cover the mysterious, obscure parts of ASOIAF. So for a change, I'd like to cover one of the main characters' storylines – either Jon, Tyrion or Daenerys. It'll be a summary and analysis of their arc, covering theories and mysteries along the way, and speculation on how their story will continue in The Winds of Winter and beyond. I'm feeling optimistic that Winds might come sometime soon.. so this'll be a good recap for the next book! If the video is good, we could continue with similar videos on the other characters.

Also, you might like to check out this Alt Schwift X video discussing a heap of ASOIAF theories: Ultimate ASOIAF Theory Iceberg. It's an Alt Schwift X video, not an Alt Shift X video – so it's unpolished and casual and not what you'd call concise – but you might get a kick out of it.

The Alt Shift X video about a sci fi story called All Tomorrows will be done soon. And an Asshai video is underway – it'll be completed once all the artwork is completed.

I see why there’s lotsa love for Tyrion - he’s likely to be with Dany, so we kinda get two for the price of one. But I still want Jon more. The 5-hour iceberg extravaganza was brilliant - now I see there’s an even longer one! Speaking of your side channels, I thought your ZZZ reading of The Call of Cthulhu was sensational too. Creeped me out completely…

I just definitely prefer Jon’s POV, as he is mostly good intentioned and doesn’t do the abominable actions the others do.

Tyrion is probably the most complicated character in the books, IMHO. There is a lot of baggage to unpack, and I’m looking forward to hearing an honest assessment of his character/actions. I kept wanting to see him as an unsung hero in the books, but on later readings he’s a lot more morally gray.

I definitely think Tyrion has the most interesting character arc, but I think Dany has the most complicated storyline, with all the eastern politics, which could benefit from some clear Shift analysis.

Though up to this point Tyrion has the most interesting story, I don't think his character will have a huge influence in the last two books. Thus why I voted for Jon who has the most potential to have the greatest impact in the story going forward.

Yeah agreed – I find Jon to be the most relatable of the major POVs, because he mostly just does his best to do the right thing – whereas Tyrion and Daenerys are murderers and conquerors driven by vengeance and prophecy and stuff. While Daenerys and Tyrion are off riding dragons and getting drunk with cheesemongers, Jon is the one actually working to prevent the white walkers apocalypse.

Yup. It's easy to think of Tyrion as he's depicted on the GOT tv show – charming and sympathetic. But Tyrion in ADWD is a veeery different character.

Yeah there's a lot of weird and complex Daenerys plotlines to untangle, with Meereenese politics, Quaithe's involvement, the upcoming battle of fire... Will be great to clarify all that.

Yeah despite Tyrion having more POV chapters, I think Jon and Daenerys are the central characters of ASOIAF.

me personally I would love any of these guys to get a vid. but I think Jon's might be the most interesting cause I feel his endgame is the most up in the air. but there are pros and cons to all 3 of these characters

I feel like I've heard everything there is to know about Jon and I feel like book-Jon and TV-Jon are in many ways similar. Tyrion on the other hand have way more changes from the books to TV show and it would be nice to have a rundown of book Tyrion, so that's my vote.

I'm glad Tyrion is getting votes, he was so miserably written from season five onwards... He became so utterly worthless that it made you forget just how incredibly written the character was and should always be. Characters like Jon were of course dumbed down and simplified, but Tyrion was always so clever, quick, and wise; and it was ripped away from us. So a video about the future of Tyrion in the books would be great way to become intrigued and excited about his journey; lets hope he does more than in the show, i'm sure he will, George holds Tyrion to such a high regard he cannot fail us.
