Update: Tyrion (Patreon)

The Tyrion video is gonna be something special. It tells the whole story of Tyrion Lannister, from his birth and childhood, and misadventures in Westeros, to his dark and twisted journey through Essos in ADWD and beyond. There's lots of cool artwork in this one, to capture all the ways that Tyrion's appearance and storyline in the books differs from the TV show. I commissioned one of my favourite ASOIAF artists, Bella Bergolts, to paint a portrait of Tyrion for this video, which is looking amazing. The video focusses on Tyrion's emotional journey, his fraught relationships with his family and lovers, and how his story might play out in TWOW alongside Daenerys. Some of my favourite Alt Shift X videos are the old Cersei and Jaime videos – this Tyrion video will finally complete the Lannister trilogy. It's a big video – well over 30 minutes I think – and it'll be done in the next couple weeks. [Edit: it's taking longer than that. It's like 75 minutes long now. But it'll be done soon!]

After the Tyrion video, there'll be a video about Asshai (with some awesome new artwork from the Unseen Westeros team), and probably a video about Man After Man (another cool speculative evolution book like All Tomorrows), and then it'll be time to get ready for Dune.

Thanks for your support!
