Yeah the broken man speech is a shame, though I spose it wouldn't have really fit in the show anyway – the show hasn't really shown the impact of war on the smallfolk like Feast did

Totally fair. It was still a wee part of Cleganebowl I was looking forward to. Anticipating your analysis. I feel this episode had more packed into it than most folks think.

I marked the fuck out this week, my favorite character is back. I saw it coming from the Gravedigger stuff in the books but it was still no less exciting.

I will say, I don't like the way the show is portraying Jamie' relationship with Cersei in the episode 8 promo. Book Jamie seems well and done with her bullshit by the time he's in the Riverlands. But here he's itching to get back to her

Seems to me Arya would know the only way to truly escape the Faceless Men is for them to think she's dead. So she's planned this - that's why she was so open approaching the ship's captain and standing on the bridge. Anyway, that's what I'm hoping...

hope so too. It was the only directly shown violent fight scene, which had me surprised. I thought the violence would be from the Hound or the Blackfish arc (indirect scene/threats)
