R+L=J confirmed y'all ;)

What did you think of the season finale?

Working on the Explained script now. This'll be a big one – video release will probably be around Friday.

John Rushing

We didn't hear a name, so they COULD still rip R+L=J away from us just like Cleganebowl. Also, did anyone tell Jorah they're leaving?

Dave Pallas

Alt, how much of third eye blind's jumper can you play before youtube flags you?

Dylan Z. Neill

Varys sure can get from place to place pretty damn quickly.

Dave Pallas

That littlefinger jetpack

Nick Peelman

Favorite episode ever. Bar none.

DICK JOHNSON

Honestly the Dorne scene felt unnecessary, but I guess we did need to see them at least once in the last half of the season. The Tyrell-Dorne-Dany alliance makes sense in a strange way.

DICK JOHNSON

I really don't think it can get much more blatant than that, without losing some sort of flair. Second Sons are still in Mereen, so Jorah and Daario can be buds again without Dany hanging around.

Joanne Long

I want to be Lyanna Mormont when I grow up.

Kate Lyons

Amazing episode. Best back to back episodes of any series HBO has ever put out.

Amberest

So many things Arya can bake Frey Pies Lord Manderly is here Kings Landing done burnt Tyrells gone except Olenna Cersei should have always worn this outfit and oh her crown I even like her wig now too and oh shit bye Tommen RLJ King in the North ocean black with Targ sails! Sorry for run-on sentence

Kate Lyons

Super Daario Brothers CONFIRMED

Tiago Pereira

Beautiful, haunting, moving score!

Amberest

The score kept making me laugh! I thought it was a ripoff of Mad World.

Paul Barry

They should never have another Sand Snake scene without the Queen of Thornes. Best put-downs ever. I was cheering. The QoT speaks for the audience!

Jason Rattray

Take as long as you need Shift, you're officially all we have for 10 months.

NemoNova

As long as you need. We'll be here.

PR0MAN1

This episode is the first one I had to legit stop mid way though to let it sink all in. Partially because my player had to load but mostly because of what Cersei did. The entire cast of KL just got wiped out in a second. Hold the Door left me depressed, THAT left me in shock

Elizabeth Frum

Speaking of the White Wolf... Where was Ghost?

glassoflaban

I loved it! But, there are some things that left me wondering. First, even if Bran told Jon that he is a targaryan who would beleive him? There is no reason anyone would, right? Second, I was really disappointed there there was no night king stuff which is a big deal for me since it's going to take time in season 7 to build up to that.

Alice Cottrell

I loved the look that passed between Jaime and Cersei when she was crowned. Not to mention everything else that will give fans plenty to talk about. Maybe even we'll get another book before next season!

Linda

These last two episodes are all the reason why this series is so outstanding. I'll need to watch this one a second time. No time to digest before the next helping!

Lydia Quinn

The finale was amazing! So happy about the big reveal. Your video about R+L=J was the first one I ever saw of any GOT videos and I've been hooked ever since. They did a great job on all counts. Some of the scenes were haunting. The music was brilliant too especially down in the tombs with the little birds and the wildfire. Walder Frey and Arya .... We cheered! Jon the king....we cheered! Tyrion the Hand of the Queen! We cheered and got a bit weepy. Poor Tommen, his mothers crazy and Jamie stares in horror. Then we spent the next two hours coming up with strategy for next year. Please take your time and make more videos!

Shaun Au

I think this is THE best episode so far in the series. Even better than the EP9, IMO. So many amazing scenes. The soundtrack is out of this world. Now, one little detail about those reflecting hanging mirrors to bring the lights into the library. That is the flipping ringed lenses in the opening credits, I believe. It's such a fine touch to add this prop in the actual scene. I felt it's very symbolic. It stands in the center and shines on all the knowledge and wisdom of the westeros. This is where the humanity and civilization still thrive although the winter is here and world is about to coming to an end.

Jared

I'm wondering what Jaime's look at Cersei is going to mean over the next season. Is he going to have to kill another monarch?

Jake Toner

The best thing I've ever seen in my life. I'm a huge LotR nerd and that episode surpassed the first time I saw Return of the King. Outstanding. 10/10. First time I've ever watched a TV show and been off my feet and cheering from start to finish.

Sergey Antopolskiy

Nice finale indeed! May I ask you one thing though -- please do not include spoilers in the announcements... Some of us European folk read our emails before watching GoT on Monday. Thanks :)

Korakys

If you can finish the video within 7 days I'll be very surprised.

Kaitlyn

There are things about the season finale that annoyed me (Benjen leaves Bran and Meera with ni eay ti defend themselves? Jon is the king of the north over Sansa, the legitimate heir?? I could go on :/) BUT there were so many big things in this episode that I'm excited for your episode dissecting everything.

Ileana

I enjoyed everything and have nothing bad to say (maybe that will change lol). The only thing that bothered me and it was probably meant was Sansa's reaction after looking at LF. I hope she won't turn against Jon 😤 She KNOWS LF can't be trusted. Every time I think I finally like her she does something like this.

Michael Towns (gamebuoygames)

Wrote a comment on here the other day saying how I felt the season had been a bit of a bust so far. One of the best looking of the six so far but a bit of a clusterfuck. This ep contains none of those arguments. Amazing stuff, mucho enjoydo.

Georgia K

The Dorne scene is surely just a reference to the Jon Connington/Griff/Aegon invasion of Westeros in ADWD?

Georgia K

Deeply satisfying. Which is pretty worrying. Everyone is on an up (except for Tommen and Jaime). Which means there is only one way they can go next season.

Edward Duffy

Dude! Spoiler in my morning email! :-/

Alt Shift X

Sorry Sergey! I'll avoid posting spoilers in future (:

Alt Shift X

Yeah we'll see how it goes.. shouldn't take too much longer than the others, though

Alt Shift X

Sorry man! Will avoid posting spoilers in future

Artek Wiśnia

You should have seen me as I've rapidly turned my sight away from spoiler in my email yesterday morning xD

Min Sedai

My favorite episode of the show so far! I even started (happy) crying during the "King of the North" scene. I'm interested in hearing your analysis of the newest occupant of the iron throne. I expected many of the KL events, but not that.

Jose SanMi

Man, I'm gonna miss these videos. Hope you make them again in season 7.

Justin Ridgely

Re: Varys, you can see the Martell sunburst marked ships in Dany's fleet, which makes sense given the route from the "Bay of Dragons" runs right by Dorne

Alt Shift X

I definitely hope to do a S7 Explained series, yeah (:

Louis Williamson

I was just sad crying - I hate to be a downer, but just last episode they were discussing how putting faith in kings is a mistake, and the entirity of AFfC was pretty much drilling it in that the war of the five kings was a mistake, and would have been even if Robb won. Robb's coronation and continuation of the war was terrible for Westeros, but I feel like Dan and Dave don't seem to have grasped the message of the books.

Louis Williamson

I agree - it vexes me that people are saying that this is the greatest episode ever considering all the incosistencies and nonsensical plot points, but it was most certainly interesting.

Louis Williamson

The bastard deserter who inspires no loyalty and single-handedly completely screwed up the battle !"!!!!!11!!
