Hi guys, the Daenerys video is about 16-24 hours away, and at 20 mins long, it's one of the biggest Alt Shift X vids ever (:

All remaining updates will be edits to this post.

Edit: The render took forever for some reason. Now uploading... ETA 1 hour

To do:

- "Camera" movements – pans and zooms [DONE]- Layer timings, transitions and custom animations [DONE]- Final pass – double-checking, tweaking and refining the visuals [DONE]- Rendering [DONE]- Uploading [40%]

Normally, the video would be released a day early just for $5 Patrons, but because this video's been a while coming, it'll be released to all Patrons as soon as it's ready. I'm thinking of tweaking the Patron rewards a bit, it kinda sucks to withhold vids.

Looking forward to see your videos return on my youtube feed :) Cheers

Just an idea, what about doing a live stream/chat thing in the planning stage of your videos for the 5$+ crowd? We could get an early idea of the content and give out some thoughts. Seems to be a thing some other people are doing, could be fun :)

Yeah something like that'd be cool - maybe I could do like a 'production diary' type thing, with short screencapture vids showing what I'm working on, responding to questions.. I'll look into it (:

I think that in of itself should be it's own video, like a behind the scenes video

Alt Shift X

Yeah I've thought about doing a big behind the scenes video, going in-depth on the technical details and idiosyncracies of the workflow, but that would only really be of interest to a limited bunch of video production nerds. So maybe I'll do some kind of lighter, quick overview - have been thinking of doing a sort of time-lapse showing the construction of the video "storyboard" design.
