Hey guys!

The main focus this month is to complete the big Cersei character analysis – the video will tell the story of Cersei, try to understand her character, and predict her eventual fate. Will take at least a couple weeks.

In the meantime, I've also been toying with the idea of a video on the new episode of Rick and Morty. Lots of people have asked for a Rick and Morty video, I'm just not sure there's enough depth in R&M to be worth devoting a video to... What do you guys think?

Cheers

Will you be discussing the sauce?

Jason A. Diegmueller

FWIW, I formally vote "not in favor of Rick & Morty analysis video(s)".

Alex

Gosh..who are they? But to be honest, I'm pretty sure if you do it, i'll watch it!

Samantha K Enriquez

YES to Rick and Morty videos!! There's just so much to unpack!! Plus it's a great show!!

Ron

I vote for - if you will get into it you will find the depth

Professor Hazard

Rick and Morty has a surprising amount of depth.

Sergey Antopolskiy

I have just started watching R&M, and I love it. That said, I don't know what's up with S3E1 to say if it warrants an in-depth analysis.

Will Shelton

I'd love a R&M video. I actually just finished writing an essay on fascist governments achieved through capitalist strategies, which Rick sublimely represents (and subverts) during his meteoric rise through the Council of Ricks. Long story short, there's plenty of depth there!

Merlijn

I vote for R&M videos!

Olaf Emmerich

I love R&M, but there's already lots of stuff out there (Wisecrack, Emergency Awesome), so I'm a bit torn. I'm still for Westworld or Man in the High Castle, but if you did R&M I'd definitely watch those, too! :) BTW: The Game of Bones was amazing! "This was not a paid promotion.. God help us all!" :D

GoKate206

I've not seen R&M but what about exploring something like Westworld or Dune? I've heard that there will be a movie of Dune coming out in the near future. Can't wait to see the Cersei video, big fan!

DrNutella

i think an in depht analysis of r&m could be great...just give it a try, there are lots of theorys about the show

Calin boiii

I'd very much appreciate it if you focused on GoT. :)

There are already heaps of R&M videos exploring both the show's existentialism/nihilism/absurdism and the alternate dimensions of the characters. I do however think there is still room for a video or two. Given the ending to S3E1, might I suggest a character analysis of Rick? What's likely true about him, and what isn't? What are his true motivations? Does he care about Morty or is Morty just a means to an end?

Faltnor

I vote against R&M

Dune is very interesting; the thoughtfulness of Sci-fi, but with near the popularity of a fantasy series. A six book series with a couple of a adaptations already done. If a new adaptation is coming soon it could be good to get ahead of the curve. On the other hand if it turns out to suck we'll all lose out a bit. Hard to predict. Whatever you do Shift I think your strength is depth and not breadth.

While I would like your interesting take on Cersei, I would definitely be interested in seeing what you're capable of in regards to Rick and Morty. Rick and Morty actually has a lot of depth that isn't blatantly explored in the show and can be deceptively perceived as potty humor. Definitely check out some content created by its fanbase and I can assure you that it is far more fascinating than you might think it is.

Tripodski

YES YES YES for Rick and Morty!!

Thee Stevie Franchise

No for R&M. No desire to see an in-depth analysis of another cartoon.

Yeah that Wisecrack video is a large part of why I haven't yet done a R&M vid - they've summed it up pretty well already (:

Alt Shift X

Yeah I'd still like to do a Westworld Season 1 Explained, and if a Dune movie happens I'd been down for a vid on it too (:

Alt Shift X

Thanks for the feedback, everyone! For now I'll hold off on a R&M video. Maybe if some cool theory comes up during Season 3, I'll reconsider.. but regardless the focus now is the Cersei vid (:

I'd like to see Rick and Morty, Stranger Things, Westworld, Star Wars and others in their own space. Like satellite video's that aren't really scheduled to pop up, but when/if you have interesting things to say on them.
