the trailer is incredible, i keep coming back to watch it. i really enjoy the attention to detail in things like animations, with the different panels that slide in and out, very cool. the music is great too. excited for the kickstarter!!

Congratulations to the Pistol Shrimp for achieving this monumental accomplishment! I have been a fan of the series since I played the original game back on the Sega Genesis back in 1991. I was "enthralled" when I played the sequel the following year. In the original game, there was a "VS" component beyond melee combat. There was a 1v1 component where the objective was to destroy the opposing player's starbase. The bases were located on opposite ends of a rotating starfield. Random precursor artifacts would boost encountering ships' abilities making the game even more exciting. My best friend and I would enjoy beyond words playing this game 1v1 through many evenings. This would be a perfect game to play 1v1 over the internet in the modern age. Is there any possibility of introducing this as a DLC? :)

We can at least say we have no plans to do this at this time, but if our community was excited to make it happen, the game would be moddable to the extent that they could even remake this too.
