Most everything Evee knows about pregnancy has been learned in the span of the last couple of months - but gaining height is definitely NOT one of them. However, a part of her ill-defined and sorta-assumed list of desires the Demon agreed to grant was getting taller.Going throughout life looking up at everyone leads to everyone looking down at you - and that usually encourages treatment akin to the kind given to children. Evee once tried to inform people of her plight with a pamphlet titled "How to Talk to Short People," but later she found crude inappropriate drawings in the ones she distributed. Most oddly sexual, for some reason...Anyways! As her height has suddenly grown the past few weeks, Evelynn can only assume the Demon's Deal has finally reached this long-awaited part. First Curves, then Skills, and now Height! Demons are pretty good on the "Everything you desire" bit of their evil pacts!

Perhaps ... Evee's new height has some correlation to her new friend the Woodsman (Daniel or Richard or something), and their sudden, VERY intense companionship to suite Evee's needs - but apparently she is looking for additional companions. Thus we can conclude his daily exhausting visits have NO relation to Evee's sudden growth along this new axis! (That's how science works, even hundreds of years ago.)

But look at that - there's an old and forgotten companion at the door! I wonder how she'll think about the new Evee?
