at this point it's pretty much confirmed that luffy is prety much comletely asexual. he never once has really shown any interest in women (or men), or really anything sexual, outside that one scene in alabastar where they peeked on nami and vivi in the bath, but even that has been confirmed to be mostly a spur of the moment thing, born from usopp egging luffy on and him getting into the spirit of things. and if even seeing one of the most beautiful women in the world naked doesn't do it, i'm not sure what ever will. but explains why luffy is completely uneffected by boa's (m)ero (m)ero powers.

Just so you know for future reference, because I have seen many other reactors get confused on this, in the future whenever you see "Conquerors Spirit" or "Conquerors Haki" or "Color of the Supreme King", these all refer to the same thing, it is just different translation interpretations based on the time and who is translating at that point because the OP anime spans 25 years IRL. They are all translations of the term "Haoshoku no Haki".

Conquerors haki or Color of the Supreme King, that subtitle dubbing doesnt explain it well, 1 in 1 million are born with it and an even smaller percentage even learn to use it.

yeah subtitles are kinda weird but basically you can't "master" that thing some people are just born with it they're like "born leaders/conquerors" and it's different from "just haki" its a special haki (its basically what u can call charisma but that makes ppl faint lol)

The 4-person head-tilt is one of my favourite scenes from One Piece. Everyone in the bath, including Luffy, equally confused. Also, that scene is where the "Luffy is Asexual" headcanons *seriously* begin!

Each version of this anime makes me laugh, but I feel like the dub does the bath scene better. Because Hancock sounds a mix of offended, baffled, panicked, and alarmed all at once when she realizes that Luffy won't turn to stone. It's hilarious.
