My opinion time. Feel free to skip me being a negative nelly. These are fun to watch for entertainment, but I am sorry these seem so fake. All these types of shows create drama and issues to film it. This was especially noticeable in the hotel series where the place somehow completely messed up 3 meals over the course of the day. Not just a little mess up, but like would be shut down for 1 of them let alone 3.

Rx1867

This was completely unexpected. I need to watch your YouTube channels more. Patreon made me lazy and now I'm missing out.

Jaffar Black Fang

Kitchen Nightmares is such an addicting series to watch Also wasn't there a series where Gordon Ramsey goes to Hotels and says "Oh my god, its like a mosaic of semen" cause that is one of the Gordon Ramsey quotes of all time

KurpShi4K

He'll yeah, let's go

Memento Forever

39:04-39:12 Um... Alicia, I think the foods already dead.. ( I Had no idea what she meant at first.)

Jaffar Black Fang

Mr Krabs is watching these Resturant Owners and taking notes on how to be cheaper

Vincent

Gordon Ramsey is one of the most successful restaurant owners in the modern world. I find it hilarious when these failing business owners think they know more about running a restaurant than him.

PinkClouds94

Male Karens are called Kyles! Also where's the fookin lamb sauce!

Leticia

She talking about the fridge remember me a very remarcable moment in a similar cooking show here in Brazil... If you know, you know

Luka Aleksijevic

I suggest watching the original seasons from Britain.. .because they were much less dramatic and much more real

Grandmasta

Gordon Ramsey is actually a super nice guy, he gets nasty on shows like Hell's kitchen because the contestants are professionals that should know better, but then do stupid things to cut corners like try to serve food that had been dropped in the trash, Serving things raw, etc.

Zeekutar The Immortal

55:36 for anyone who wants to experience the deeply satisfying experience that is: describing the layers of a homemade lasagna. The timing. The anticipation of the next ingredient. I think I'm in love <3

Memento Forever

2:01:40 The story of when you found out you have cancer is terrifying... I always was interested but it's always scary because you never know unless you get checked, sometimes more than once. For some people they find it too late.

Tony

Listening to you talk about your Fish n Chip shop has got me begging for Saturday to come for my regular Saturday Chippy trip!

Calexus Soleil

My heart got so warm and fuzzy when you said that you use your youtube money to help your staff at your restaurant keep their hours... Ngl it almost brought me happy tears lol. Can you be my boss? You don't need to pay me, just the feeling of having a boss who cares is more than enough lmao

Atomkaktus

In my old job as a chef, we cooked lunch for the employees every day. We took turns and the food was then rated. Every month, the best dish was then put on the menu as a special. It was fun because you could always be creative and also get feedback from your colleagues.

Easy Mode - A.I

can we trade out this show for the comedy specials...

Kawaii Edgelord

Alicia is literally part of the bourgeoisie? The only acceptable bourgeoisie member is one who is a class traitor. Keep being one of the cooler capitalists!

Dale Cooper

When I worked at a major coffee chain we were either supposed to throw away food or if they came around donated to a children's club. I was a shift manager who always closed and I just asked my crew if they wanted it instead. We made a good profit at our store and I cared more about my crew getting whatever they wanted.

Polarbear Bowl

Ty for putting these here, love kitchen nightmares and your reactions to it will be great im sure

Trev

Im really glad that I watched this reaction, your commentary about the food industry and your job experiences on it makes me want to do more with my career and lifestyle, if that makes any sense?

Crescent Method

Listening to the talk about the Fish and Chips has got me craving good fish and chips. I suffer from a lack of good options near me though

TorrentAB

I absolutely agree with your business methods, because as a customer I've made decisions based on those things. I order out multiple times a week, and i almost always check deals first and focus on the best deals, even if it wasn't something i normally consider. There are multiple local restaurants that i eat from regularly purely because i found them on the app and enjoyed their food, so you're absolutely right on the brand loyalty and getting your name out through deals that don't hurt the bottom line. And i also completely stopped ordering Zaxby's because they raised both of my usuals by 2.50 and 4 dollars respectively, and i refused to pay 4 dollars more for the same product when im already dealing with delivery fee and tip.

Le Karibou

I worked in restaurants for 11 years. I both love and hate Kitchen Nightmares. Love because Gordon's passion and efforts make me happy inside. Hate because the people you see in these episodes would cause me to end up in jail. Also, I want fish 'n ships and indian food now.

ThePirateJaz

5 minutes in, when you're talking about supplementing your restaurant and employees with youtube money, I cannot accurately express how appreciated you are for that, as someone who also has worked in food manufacturing, production, and in restaurants, as well as HACCP certified in food safety. It is so greatly appreciated to have more staff members on hand, even if it's not necessarily *needed.* It both feels better to have more help *if* it is needed, or to have a more relaxing night because everything is easier when you have more hands on deck THANK YOU.

QuibblesAndGitz

While I get people mocking FOX news (really Any MSM is mockable) I have to guess that a lot are too young to realize FOX also was the Channel this broadcast on, and they also used to be a Major film studio before Disney bought them out.. FOX is the reason you get to have Hugh Jackman as Wolverine!

Giddo

Too YOUNG to have cancer?!?!?!? CHILDREN HAVE CANCER YOU QUACK DOCTOR

Vashta

52:42 Alicia, I felt shamr about the week old lasagna, and I didn't even cook it! Just...oh it hurts.

Bolo The Wise

I cannot stress enough how much I want meal prep vids that'd be sweet

cry_w

Man, Katrina really screwed up so much down here. There are still places that never recovered from that. Also, the idea that this place is his first experience with Louisiana's food makes me feel sick. Didn't even know I had that much cultural pride in me.

Aerowind

Alicia mentions that chains should have better employee benefits than mom & pop shops but that kind of ignores how insidious the chains can be. A franchise operates like a mom & pop shop, but with a corporate that can screw you over (for example, rebranding, where you're now on the hook to remodel your entire restaurant on your dime) and that takes their money off of the top line. You could be in the red every month but the chain doesn't care because they're still getting paid. Sure there are some franchise owners that are huge, but some people just have like 1 or 2 stores. My dad bought a couple of sandwich shops from the owner when he retired and corporate usually found a way to gobble up most of his profits. Also going to point out that in the US, most jobs don't have an employment contract.

"Fresh Frozen"- is fucking crazy

khaliqtessi

I'd love to know your Mom's reaction to this. GOOD LORD 🤯 Lol, first thing I did was check to see if this place is still open. No surprise, it's closed down 😂

BulletAdrian

Not me learning what 86 means and making the anime even more sad for me :(

ElevenZero

Noodles in lasagna? huh?

Nicholas Johnson

I was a cook for 12 years. I've never worked anywhere that did not give us a shift meal. I worked in chains and privately owned restaurants.

Trevor Wingard

I just need everyone to know that at 1:50:10 I heard "got big ass t-" and thought that sentence was going an entirely different direction. That is all.

Demon Slayer

Lamb Sauce, also yeah, finally seeing Alicia's Take on these places.

Felix Bäckström

I went to chef school like 8 years ago, the school ran a lunch restaurant, and other than our lunch and breakfast, there was no ability to sit down for even a minute. So just from the time i was in that school, i started having problem with my feet/legs

AnubisRat

Every time I her say, "fresh frozen" I can't help but laugh.

Niels Vermaas

Man stuff like those buckets makes me sad I'm allergic to most shell fish and crustaceans. Looks so good

Petter Uppvall

2005 was a strange year for my family my sister is named Emily and my mother is Katrina.

Mina Stone

Imagine going to a Homestyle restaurant and getting food that is literally in your fridge. We have seven day old lasagna at home for free.

YukoValis

S4xE13 Zeke's I'm marking these to help keep a reference. <3

Leon52

I joined this to watch Criminal Minds and didn't know Alicia crashes out watching Kitchen Nightmares. I am going to enjoy watching this series knowing full well I agree with everything Alicia is saying.
