To be fair about Nami, her character is that of a bleeding heart for women and children in shitty situations because it matches her own background. This was especially strong with Vivy. And you saw a little bit of it in punk hazard with the crying kids that made her change her mind about helping. Despite the money grubbing, she'll reach out to damsels and babies. So, her wanting to help Pudding with no skepticism kinda matches.

Fun fact: Big Mom's laugh is Hahahaha Mamamama, in japanese, Haha is another word for mother, so her laugh is literally her saying mom over and over.

I just noticed that during Pudding's storytime Luffy doesn't react to anything she says unless it's about Sanji. Everyone else does but not him. I don't think he cares if she telling the truth as long as he gets to Sanji.

To be fair to pudding, we saw that Big Mom knew that Luffy and them were in her territory before Pudding ever met up with them, she sang about it at the end of her introductory song.

One thing to note: the islands that they collected the ingredients from were not under Big Mom's control. So they were slaughtering random civilians, not residents of Totto Land. Not exactly better, but I saw you made the comment about her killing her own people
