End of this binge session feels like that digging for diamonds meme.

Santi

What EXACTLY were you expecting from Luffy Alicia lol this is the same guy that thought a zombie was an injured old man. the same guy who saw Foxy in a bad disguise and actually thought it was his sister. the same guy that mistook kaku for ussop simply bc of the long nose. If there's one thing thats been established for the past 800 episodes, it's that luffy can be very easily tricked.

Ebofa

So I have written a couple of times about how I feel Sanji is the middle brother of the Crew, who is desperately trying to hold things together and be there for the younger ones. Especially seen in Ennis Lobby, where he was the one who tried to explain things for Chopper and be there for him. As well as leaving food and medicine for Usopp. And I just feel that his entire episode explains why he became like that, so very well. And while it was already understandable, it truly puts his undying devotion to Zeff in a whole new light.

Brian Bayot

Look, he can't be smart in EVERYTHING. Luffy's emotional intelligence, his kindness, and his determination came at a steep cost: Normal intelligence.

Sam Marsh

Reliving Sanji’s “father” abuse is harrowing, but at least we can make ourselves feel better by deriving joy from watching Caesar suffer.

Speed1247

Gonna be real but the devil fruit whose abilities are being shown off in that forest is among my top 10 choices for devil fruit.

Austin Jenkins

anytime there are scene where Luffy is being a super dumbass its cause they are trying to stall him from advancing the plot

Cvillain626

Judge is like if Endeavor actually had zero redeeming qualities and was just an objectively giant piece of shit

Vendacator

Fuck I hate this family so much

leviathan_13

Well, I don't think this arc will heal Alicia's trust issues... XD

Jae

Yeah...the forest side plot is ass lol

jdoggivjc

I am starting to get so many flashbacks to Thriller Bark where so many of Luffy's (and most of the Straw Hats, if we're being honest) Ls were due to stupidity - and not "funny" stupidity, but "stupid" stupidity. I really disliked Thriller Bark because of it, and I'm hoping they get past this phase quickly because overall I'm really enjoying Whole Cake Island... outside of the parts that involve Luffy - which sucks because you shouldn't be saying that about the MC.

Froze

does alicia read comments on patreon ?

Egregore

Alicia needs to cut the hot sister some slack. Of course she would want the approval of her neglectful father.

Nopoleon Y

The saddest part about Sanji adressing his child self is that says "You" not "I". Like he's trying to completely seperate his past from himself because of how painful it was

Nopoleon Y

The forest is btw basically the luffy vs Bellamy of this arc in the sense that it's the bit from the manga they pick to pad out as filler. It was so much more brief in the original

GeneralBass

For some reason this doesn't show up in notifications

Okoga

Anime committing pacing genocide as always.
