I like this arc, but Luffy is really lucky he’s the protagonist of this show. Because with the amount of stupid decisions he’s made his entire crew and himself would have been killed if not for the infamous plot armour, of which Luffy has a lot of this arc.

Okay, we get it, you don't like Pudding. You think she's fake. But come on, read into the situation more. In Sanji's mind, he's completely alone. He's back in the helmet, and back in the cage. She could have been an okama who openly abused him worse than his brothers and father ever did, and ensured that he would spend the rest of his life on Kamabaka Island - and he would have accepted the marriage. That's how trapped and alone he is. Him hugging her? It didn't matter what she was saying, it just mattered that he felt like he at least had someone who *might* be in his corner. The hug wasn't to comfort her, it was to comfort *himself*. There are a lot of emotional cues that you've just been trampling on, over these past few episodes. He's alone, trapped, and in his own personal hell, and you can't take him seriously because he "looks like a pufferfish". It's things like that which make it hard to take *you* seriously. In this episode in particular? You overfocused on your hate boner for Pudding, and lost touch with Sanji.
