I'm sad they didn't show him going to the bank and shopping for clothes. Also, Dongsoo, in the light novel, never made it to South Korea in this part, but they added it in for the manhwa and now the anime, which I find great because the whole thing a great interaction.

I hope season 2 will be better than season 1. The show seems to want to take inspiration from video games, but it gets so much wrong that it legit took me out, I hope they stick the landing better this time around, I want to like this show so much, but it's just not giving it...

Honestly, I don't think Jinwoo would have stood a chance against Dongsoo before getting trapped in the red gate. He's gotten much stronger, but I don't think he's at the level of a strong S rank yet.

I don’t remember the Manhwa that well, but in the webnovel it’s made pretty clear that at this point in the story Jinwoo isn’t that much stronger than the average A-rank. The anime may play-up Jinwoo’s badass persona but Dongsoo, or any S-rank, would body him right now.

I normally don't like anime that have video game stat and quest screens pop up. It feels like a crutch for weak storytelling. I watched season 1 because so many seemed to love it. For me, it was just barely good enough to finish, mostly forgettable, overall mid. This episode was better, I hope these animators are treated better than the 100 girlfriends team, because they put in work for this episode. If season 2 follows this trend, and uses less invisible game screens, I think I'll like it better than season 1.
