Kalean

Pedro - the last of the real ones.

Manuel Müller

I think Pedro's flashback, and Roger's words in particular, are symbolic of a major turn in One Piece at this point in the story, setting up all the relevant piece for the endgame we're currently in. A lot of things fall into place from this point onward, and it all starts with Pedro's self sacrifice.

Anzac-A1

33:22 Remember, not only are cannonballs hard to aim because they're slow, thus have a huge arc they fly in, but those ships are also rolling due to the waves. Probably also not helped by the soldiers only being parts of souls, so probably not super smart.

Moku

So if you'll note the personalities of Linlin's personal homies, Prometheus and Zeus in particular, you can see two of her most defining character traits shining through. Most notably, Prometheus reflects her aggression and Zeus reflects her gluttony.

Koirby

That man had so many fucking bombs. And that last one blew a hole right through our hearts o7 ;~;

Egregore

Now that Alicia pointed it out; Roger DID look way better without that hat.

Rick Baron

People that are caught up with the manga tend to forget the importance of pedro's sacrifice, but i think we got reminded just recently: "...The inconvinienced lingering shadows shall remember the day of promise... ...The Sun will return. A new morning will arrive. Those men will surely be able to meet again"

Polarbear Bowl

So with Roger looking better and more well groomed as the story goes on, you have to remember that towards the end of his life he was on deaths door due to a disease, meanwhile in the new world we are learning more about Roger before he became sick and because of that it actually makes sense that he would look better and act more lively, because this was a decent chunk earlier in his story.

Vincent

It's always darkest before the dawn.

ichigo

She’s gonna flip on Katakuri so quick she’ll get whiplash.

Ebofa

Turns out this was Carrots backstory flashback all along.

Moon

Chris White

Yeah, after isn’t “figuring out pudding”, you can’t really hate on her too much Alicia. Her family is mostly to blame for this.

downright darius

pudding so mentally busted she doesn't even know how to crash out

SirMoist

I like how the jump from 11:00 to 11:02 is actually over a 2 hour difference in real time because crunchy roll was tweaking for a while

Easy Mode - A.I

Artemis

bloodyshadow1

I think you're the first reactor I've I seen notice how Pedro died with a smile on his face.

jdoggivjc

o7 Pedro. Nothing like eating all of the dozens of sticks of dynamite on yourself with a smile on your face.

gamer cental 23

I wanna hold you just for a while and DIEEEEE with a smile Sorry I had too

Billy Lo

Pedro the hero we deserve

Wil DeYoung

I couldn't wait for this part of the arc, it is so god damned good. I'm glad I can binge it right now. I love Pudding with her switch up, I actually root for her and Sanji as long as she can mellow the fuck out. Not to mention there's a part coming up that I absolutely love with a reveal about a certain character that elevates Whole Cake a few notches in my book.

Sprocket

The sanji curse strikes again. Light sanji's cig and you die

Sean Pierson

I wonder how many years of life Pedro had left.

Vivica the witch

Bro even got to spit in big moms eye before he went out
