No one wore seat belts in the eighties. And I mean no one. I didn't even start wearing one until like 2000. It used to be WAY less common. We were very stupid.

Gai Valentine

Next movie we gonna see Alicia’s parental instincts kick into overdrive

Aqua Lantern

One of the MCU's best. I remember that it was one of the first movies I watched when I got my Disney+ subscription. I cried like hell and got the soundtrack for my phone as soon as I could. SO GOOD!

Tachyon Fast

I’m not ashamed. I cry every time I watch this movie. Not many movies get me that good, but this fs one.

Nick Lopez

Guardians 3 is by far my favorite movie, I saw it in theaters and was left shellshocked afterwards, I loved it so much I saw it again in theaters... the emotions in that movie will break Alicia, you think your sobbing is bad now, just wait

Hexx Gear

Once again I'm requesting for alica to react to "Road to infinity " once we caught up and before we watch. It's a MUST. We are going to get a beautiful recap and cinematic edit that will put pride in your heart as a marvel fan

Kinji

Alicia said think about tentacles and all I could think was, "Oh no, this isn't that kind of movie...!"

Hollow

Always forget that Jimmy Urine had so many little cameos in this, actually thought he was only in like one scene, but he pops up in most of the ravager scenes. It’s funny as honestly he really looks like he belongs and fits in. Was always a huge fan of MSI growing up, definitely kind of fringe music, even his solo Album Euringer was pretty interesting, had that Gerard Way feat in it as well. Just a bummer that again you have to separate the art from the artist, as he’s had some shady goings on come to light.

November mind

its not group therapy ... its GROOT therapy

Petter Uppvall

was not Peters dad in the comic also a celestial douche?

Wildermann82

Alicia really needs to see the Guardians holiday special.

YukoValis

I love how you were still worried about rocket when facing two guys with weapons. yeah no, he took the clown to pound town.

matt B

probably top 5 on marvel movies for me but I wish we could have expanded more on peters powers and maybe kept a little bit

Maxxy

i dont think theres a better way for a father to go than to give his life to save his kid.

DrCatspaw

Patient? Woman! You were cranking out more content when you were sick than some content creators do normally. And I have learned something about myself. I cry more when someone else is too. I have kinda been enjoying these a bit more than when I watched them the first time.

Wraif E. P.

I am SO ready for Gurren Lagann reactions!

Easy Mode - A.I

1:39:52 - love it, doesn't even ask anything or take extra time to think. just FUCK YOU

boy oh boy im excited for next marvel post

Before this movie came out, I was somewhat familiar with Ego the Living Planet, mainly from a couple Marvel comics lore videos I saw about him. So when I saw this movie (around when it first came out), and it was revealed that Peter's dad was Ego, NGL I was pretty suspicious of his chill and friendly demeanor, given that Ego was a pretty big bad guy in the comics. I knew there was something shady about him throughout most of the film.

MarakamiSG

I think our key takeaway here is to not skip the cool animated credits before the mid credit scene.

KodeShikou

Weren’t there an extra extra end scene with the Sovereign priestess? Or is that in a later movie?

Void-Father1397

Space sweepers is a good movie to watch as well. It has similar vibes to this imo

Oji Dono

Gurren Lagan this year? NICE

Eldritch Rolls

Most of the best MCU movies are ones that aren't about the Avengers. Before the MCU the Avengers were a B Team, they weren't all that popular, heck Ironman was mostly a depressed alcoholic, so they didn't have a lot of deep character stuff to pull from to make those movies. The character kinda felt one note until they really hit their stride after learning from these really cool characters that have more to pull from, be it their powers, their more in depth personalities, or their cultures. They stopped being just Action Movies and became Character Pieces that focused more on the characters themselves and saving the day became more of a set piece. I can't wait till you get to the movies after End Game, cause while they don't seem to go over well with the action loving general audience, the amount of character work that goes into every movie is amazing, plus you get to watch the Shows as well and those are amazing.

Tico Machi

You missed a bunch of other credits scenes.

WillGlacier

Ngl I've seen too many Greek mythology things not to instantly know that Peter's dad is an asshole. Any God who gets freaky with humans is either an asshole, later has a kid who hates them for being an asshole, gets their partner killed, or all 3 (especially for Zeus)

G0R0_!ch!B@n25

You missed like 3 or 4 mid credits scenes. There were more in between the Kraglin bit and the Stan Lee cameo

WillGlacier

1:50:13 Damn Drax really made a Gurren Lagan reference, good for him. "You don't have to believe in yourself. Believe in the me that believes in you!"

Enokane

7:04 is that where Drax got the idea of being so still that he can turn invisible?

DoktorEvil

If you liked this, you definitely should watch a very unique sci-fi tv show called Farscape. It was big inspiration to James Gunn for these movies. In fact, the lead actor has a cameo as the Sovereign Admiral.

LockenKey

Drax looking at the pools and remembering his family always breaks me. He's still devastated by that loss, but he holds it in. Mantis externalizing it just breaks my heart.

Rhodair

58:52 "you're so absorbed in your own bullshit that you're not even thinking of your kid as a priority" unimaginable behavior from a man named Ego :3

Rhodair

It's a crazy relationship where Gamora has her emotions clamped down so hard that even in moments where she could just give into her feelings, she habitually distances herself. Meanwhile, Quill's often overloaded with emotions, sometimes charming, sometimes detrimental.

Jyxxe

Yondu's funeral hits me so hard. I'm not a religious or even particularly spiritual person, but one of my most innate, core values is to respect other peoples' beliefs when it comes to death rites. It's only touched on the barest amount, but Yondu's despair when Stakar talked about his death and Kraglin's reaction to seeing the other Ravagers offering their rites tells me everything I need to know about how important seeing those Colors were. An interesting note that I'm sure others have pointed out, but the Ravagers saying farewell to Yondu at the end were part of his original team in the comics. Just a neat little nod to the original Guardians of the Galaxy story.

macattack

one of the best marvel series to me. luv you been getting in to marvel . on of my true passion in my life. even name after a xmen. hope you get to do the marvel show dear devil is my favorite anything in marvel. i disabled so i can relet and feel for him. plus his story been the strong in marvel for me

EthanEverhart

I used to hate the intro to this because it just to me screamed "Buy our cute baby Groot toy!"...I still dislike it for that reason but it's grown on me

EthanEverhart

Also, in case it hasn't been mentioned, the Stan Lee cameo. The people he is talking to are known as the Watchers. They watch over the multiverse but they are not allowed to directly interact with it. So they are bound to continue listening to Stan Lee drone on as much as they wish not to, they can't tell him to shut up.

Minidiamant

What's really nice about Alicia's reaction is that it makes me avtually approach the marvel movie from an actual in universe emotional angle which I had never considered with them when I first watched them, and it's really nice to see this side of it. It's something I've generally been doing more and more and it's really nice.

YukoValis

Alicia: "They ended it on me being sad? I did not see that coming" And then she saw Infinity war...

manu

yk ... i don't think drax can see color or motion ngl. groot would stay still to avoid him and he said yondu and quill look the same. i think it might actually be an evolutionary thing with his race but i could be overthinking it idk.

Stef Morgan

Alicia has become my work partner. I put an Alicia reaction on and I get to work. It's amazing how much more enjoyable my work has become. And I also LOVE this movie. Ah, the time before Marvel movies became middling to poor. And, hot take, I think it started with End Game.

The Force

My favorite thing about Gomora being the most immediate to pick up on things being wrong with Ego is think about *her* father. Thanos. She's *used* to father figures manipulating and taking advantage of you, being *not* fatherly. Of course she picked up on it first, her senses were probably screaming about Thanos.

Staineless

For me, Yondu dying and his funeral was the most emotional part of the entire MCU.

Apofisu

Vin Diesel did say "We're family." "We are Groot" in the first movie.
