Bege and Sanji, just two Wife Guys doing Wife Guy things. I will say, as a day 1 Bege fan, I am deeply thankful for this arc, for actually giving me something to point to when people ask me why I like him. Instead of just going "I just think he is neat. What I fucking love about him the most, is that the show treats him as Luffy sometimes. He gets to have the dramatic entrance. He gets to have the insane plans. He gets to just go full devil may care, and charge at the bad guys. It really makes him feel much more of an equal to Luffy, as a fellow member of the Worst Generation.

Thaïsgrün

I might be to sensitive but I always cry with Pound scene.

Calvin

You are not going insane. The fat one is thinning.

Brandon Tondreau

Bege hitting Oven with the get your hands off my wife special.

Daniel König

2:24 I find it funny that Alicia uses the real names of people like Brulee and not the one Luffy use. Becouse I do and if I thing of Brulee I think of stick first.

TheRuralArtist

When Alicia catches up to one piece will she react to the “canon” cover stories that don’t get animated (except for Buggy's cover story)?

V_VMat

I was expecting Luffy say "to beat you" at the end there!

Chamoun101

Alicia: "She looked like that before?" Me, who knows how Big Mom looked in her "Prime ": Menopause has really taken its toll on Big Mom! 😅

TheGodofCruelty

Honestly Big Mom looked radically different back then... And in the flashback with pound she was already around 40 years old +/- some, now she's 68 iirc, so yeah Also my god am I hyped for next episode, or... Well tbh. Everything from now until the end of the arc is peak (not like the rest of WCI wasn't) xD

Lance Ivy

let me tell you i dont think the anime shows it but she use to be a few cirles mmmhhhmmm

SlimeKingK

Big Mom had a few phases, which is strange based on how she looked both as a child and currently. Also, yeah, she burns a ton of calories apparently in her hunger pangs. So many that it thins her down.

Cole Savoie

Yeah before she had kids Big Mom had a hot phase

Hynkka

Hey, if you're gonna watch the Holy Grail again, bring someone who hasn't seen it at all along! You mix so well with other people.

bloodyshadow1

27:31 oven thought he was whitebeard for a literal second

GamerGx1

I'd kill 3 people for a mass one piece upload 👁👄👁

Chris White

can't Wait for the next 2 episodes

Patrick Thatcher

"She used to look like that?" Well, I imagine it's pretty hard to keep your figure after having EIGHTY FIVE CHILDREN over the course of a literal half-century (Perospero is apparently 50).

TheRoguelock

Bege has never been one of my absolute favorite characters in this series, but I love his character and his consistency (part of the reason One Piece is great). To anyone not in his family, he'll use every trick in the book, no matter how underhanded - exactly what you'd expect from a mafioso coded pirate. But to his family, he'll do what it takes to keep them safe.

Cybers Link

From all the fake deaths in OP this one is the one that pisses me off the most. And this isn't a spoiler since it is only shown in the cover stories so yeah, somehow Pound survived and reunited with Chiffon and Lola which is nice and all but still, it was kind of a jerk move to do that in a character like that.

UndeadNovaKing 0

No worries Alicia, no one knows this cause it not in the anime. But in the Manga cover stories pound is alive and he meets both his daughters and they become a even bigger happy family.

Grandmasta

You totally should Re-watch Monty Python and upload it.

Egregore

Big Mom’s appearance in her 30s explains how she pulled so many husbands.

Timmetry

Monty Python and the Holy Grail will get you a TON OF NEW VIEWERS!!! You should definitely do it!!!!!

Cashryn Sins

I just wanna point out Oda's humor for a moment. He named an island as Chips Island and put both American and British chips on the same island. The Alpha male.

James Anderson Hill

It's not in the anime but at some point Alicia looked up the manga cover story, "Gang" Bege's Oh My Family. Despite everything Pound lives and gets a happy ending.

AltName7

24:10 I really shouldn't be surprised that you enjoy a gradual ramp-up, you raw-dogged Dressrosa.

Easy Mode - A.I

24:07 - fair points, hope ya still feel that way down the road. I cant talk more till fights over.

Gus

The Whole Cake Island Arc is a fun arc for me that just happens to have a very stong message about good and bad parenting.

jdoggivjc

The one time this entire series a cannonball actually hits its target... it nails the douchebag Oven square in the nose. That's standing applause-worthy.

Wil DeYoung

I love how Pudding went from crazy ass bitch to crazy for Sanji. I actually do love those two together and my hope is that he comes back toget her after finding the All Blue.

Meangr33n Krayola

This may be really nice to know, but in the manga, Pound actually does get to see both Lola and Chiffon and gets to tell them who he is. They welcomed him with open arms :)
