One of my favorite things about AngelBeats! (besides the OP, which is one of my favorites of any anime series) is that they got a legitimate English-speaking VA to voice TK. You don't know how much I wish other anime series did that for characters that exclusively speak English.

Love that you're watching this! And just a heads up, going forward, the ED animation is something that changes/evolves gradually over time. It's not any sort of important story points or anything, but it is meaningful, especially as you get to the later half of the show. No real biggie if you do skip.

OMG, WHY? WTF? I just heard the OP and I started ugly crying, like legit ugly crying. This was one of the first animes I ever wateched.This is going to be though, I wanted this but that piano opened old wounds, I don't think she needs to watch this anymore for her health, I am kinda worry for her lol.

This is one of the more underrated anime’s out there with a great opening and amazing songs in the anime. Really glad you are watching this Alicia. When Alicia mentioned the English speaking character, got me thinking how I love that they add a character that speaks a different language, usually English or broken English, I think that’s a great touch.

This is such a nostalgic one, prolly one of the first anime to make me cry. Especially a lot of elements hit close to home. Tho while I’m sure I’m in the minority, definitely wish we got more dub versions. As I always watched a lot more dubs than subs when they were available.

I remember that you had said a month or so ago that you wanted to start this during a stream, and I was wondering when it was going to arrive. I love this anime, with all my heart. It's the first anime I've ever watched, and what made me want to watch more (I specifically fell down a Jun Maeda rabbit hole because I fell in love with his style of writing stories, so after Angel Beats I watched Clannad, Charlotte, Little Busters, Air, Kanon... basically all of his creations). This anime in particular holds a very special part in my soul, because before I watched this, I hadn't cried for years and didn't think it possible for a story to make me emotional. I ended up crying for 3 hours straight after finishing it (I binged it all in 2 days). Interestingly enough, I first watched it dub, and I must say that the dub for this is pretty solid, even though I usually prefer subs nowadays.
