Like.. this is certainly not the solution, but an act of desperation, I feel like this is gonna ripple through these families like a hurricane (who tbf, have been incredibly abusive and neglecting), yet her reaction is so understandable as a child. This is her sole tormentor and must feel like a thousand pounds being lifted off her shoulders.

As much as I hated that Blondie I didn't want her to die. Takopi killing her and seeing Shizuka all happy and smiling right after might make him eventually kill or harm others that bring misfortune and pain to her...

It’s not shown expressly in the anime but Takopi apparently tried to save Chappy over 100 times to no avail, and Chappy supposedly getting sent to her dad was the best result they could get.
