You would absolutely love Ouran. Alas, the anime only covers half the manga. I loved the opening shot teasing the climax of the episode. CloverWorks is really flexing. Look at all the details of class 1-5! I noticed NPC’s that never caught my attention while reading the manga. Look That shot from the front side angle of the class. All of the characters are so detailed you almost don’t notice Marin is in the frame, I worried about production quality with CW doing three shows this season but so far it’s been nothing but an improvement on the great work of S1. Then the shift to the shojo art style.💯 As usual, the fictional source mixes from several IRL sources. I see elements from Maid-sama, Ouran High School Host Club and Maria Watches Over Us. Each of the cosplay source stories have some bearing on Gojo and Marin's story. Some are metaphors of their state, some foreshadowing. In this arc it is very obvious. Koyomi serves as a metaphor for Gojo and Rei for Marin. Gojo is not feeling worthy yet and Marin is stymied at expressing her feelings in a believable way due to her past antics. Musings by Daenon did a video essay on it ,but I wouldn't watch it if you don't want to be spoiled as it covers the whole manga. If I were forced to make the very hard choice of a favorite arc of the manga, this one we’re starting would be it. You can already see the impact it will have on Gojo's growth and the hints about the direction Marin’s character arc will take. [Dress]

I think the Ouran anime covers even less than half of the manga Might be wrong though... Haven't watched it in a few years. 😅 But i 100% agree that Alicia would love it.

Well the rule was just to dress as a guy, you don't need to cosplay as an actual character you just have to cross dress and that rule is fulfilled by her cosplaying Rei crossdressing.

during the final year of high school I decided to apply for the position of student council president, but the teacher said someone had already applied and it was to late to start an election. when some of my classmates heard this, they decided to get the rest of our year to demand too the teachers that I have a shot at president. I told them they didn't need to do that and accepted the VP position, but it wasn't till that moment did I realize how popular I actually was in school.(the fact that I beat up a senior bully in grade 9 also helped)

i love that the shows in this show actually have some depth to them i would un ironically watch most of the anime in it. Also the Gojo and Marin romance and the plot of the anime being similar were both don't show there thoughts is so cute and BETTER make Gogo or Marin realize they should just say something
