People look at me weird when I say he is my favourite Avenger, but a guy whose super power is practically a joke compared to rest of the team, is clearly in over his head and still manages to keep going is the best! And probably because of that, this is my second favourite Marvel show, only behind Moon Knight.

I think part of the reason why the mom wants Clint and the kids to have one on one time is that I think if she was there, there would be an urge for the kids to interact with Clint exclusively through her, as opposed to directly with him and vice versa. Cause you can feel that there's still some awkwardness there.

Rogers The Musical is like making a musical about the first responders during 9/11, it's so fucked up it makes me laugh every time. There was 100% a death toll in that invasion.

"Thanos was right." I mean, no, but from a purely pragmatic pov, it did let the earth prosper and 5 years had passed. It was healing and settling into a new reality. Can you imagine 4 billion people suddenly popping back into existence after 5 years? Housing and feeding them? The people that had moved on from the loss and have their lives rocked a second time? The things the blipped missed? Man, I really wish they did more than surface level references to the blip. Theres so much story telling potential, but the writers didn't want to deal with that baggage most of them time. Can't really blame them, it would become a head ache trying to write stories around it. But we barely get anything on how the world reacted and recovered. Mostly in FatWS, but that has its own issues.

True, FatWS isn't really required till Brave New World and Thunderbolts. I'm just VERY interested to hear her thoughts on it. There's good stuff, love Walkers character, but i mostly want validation about the negatives. A film student going through modern marvel has been very therapeutic lol

It's not crucial spoiler but as far as Alicia knows, the character vanished from the show as where she is right now. As far as she knows that character might be off Marvel completely. Yeah, it's not a huge thing, but still... Kinda annoying.

I'm sure the mom is happy to have some peace and quiet for herself too. Clint needed one on one time and she gets a nice break since she was basically raising the kids herself a lot of the time he was gone.

Light spoilers Yeeeea but they heavily cut back on that, snd what was left was so half baked. The protagonists leader was so meh i don't even remember her name. They were somehow written more lazily that the track suit mafia. Buuut I do blame covid for that one, originally their plan revolved around releasing a virus that would start killing off the population again. Then theres the famous "do better senator" mindset the writers took. They were just not smart enough to write the plot they wanted to tell.

They did, actually 🤓 damage control paid and rebuilt most of the damaged area in ny, thats part of the plot in the 1st spiderman movie of the mcu, remember? Since them, insurance companies have a strict and specify charge of being covered by avenger bs and alien attacks and monsters, like, if hulk throw your car fighting a monster, is covered since hulk is a force of nature and is the same as being in an avalanche, but if is hitted by thor, isnt covered, since 'is an act of god'

Sure but it was probably anticipated to do so which is why it was blocked off and likely not run in decades. Preserving the original look of a modern Ivy League school is not easy. You have a point tho, wrong gust of wind or bad storm and the whole thing could’ve collapsed on pedestrians.

I loved the show so much. I know a lot of people diss on the MCU shows, but really, most of them are pretty good. Yeah, they're not "Endgame-level", but if anyone is seriously holding a 10 year event film as your standard for any MCU project going forward that isn't also a 10+ year event film, you're in for a REAL sour time. Anyways, yeah, despite only appearing in this show, Kate soared to number 4 on my list of MCU heroes (at the time of BNW). She's so much fun!

Honestly, I love this show XD I mean, relatively speaking, Hawkeye is the most "ordinary human" of all of the Avengers, which is inspiring in its own right (as seen through Kate's single-minded drive after the invasion of New York), but he's also... a guy who has a family that is his raison d'etre. But he's still able to be injured (including hearing damage) and emotional trauma over things like Nat and how far down the dark path he went as The Ronin. I love him. I feel for him. I want the best for him. And yet... he does SUCH a good job of suffering XD Jeremy Renner is amazing as Hawkeye XD
