To me turbo granny does help but most of the time it be by accident or she happened to be in the area and something lucky as hell happens like what are the odds okarun goes down to help granny out the goop gets stuck and lava comes in and they end up protected by said goop they were both trapped in or the hot springs scene turbo granny been with momo the whole time in her bag but momo ain’t know and turbo granny just wanted to go to the hot springs then that bs started happening and what are the odds the place is so run down it happens to fall on everyone but momo and turbo granny was just chilling in the springs she’s a genuine luck charm but this episode is an example of her going out of her way to genuinely help in her own dick head way😂she just likes her life now before she was all give my shit back this oh ima slime yall out so I get my powers back now she just be chillin 😂

i think there is a fine line in dandadan between evil spirit's and guardian spirit's. turbo granny and acro silky are good examples. both seem like evil spirit's to outsiders, but they take those "evil" actions to protect others. to the women who were attacked or who could be attacked, turbo granny is a guardian to them and a spirit of vengence on the men who would do harm. so its a fine line, and i think with her change in scenery and new relationships turbo granny is softening and changing what kind of spirit she is.

I fully agree with Manjiro on the situation. Jiji and Evil Eye is basically another Yuji and Sukuna situation from the looks of it. Not only is Evil Eye being alive putting the gang in danger, it’s putting EVERYONE in danger. I say that mf needs to get packed up.

Turbo Granny is absolutely an evil spirit, she's just smart enough to be reasonable when threatened. If TG was in EE's exact situation in threat of being exorcised, she'd clean up her act for the moment. You can't say TG is just protecting young women when she threatened to kill Momo, Seiko, and use Okarun's body as a meat puppet for mass murder because Okarun was training to race her (in S1 EP3). That's not protection of anyone, it's a blatant overstep that sends mediums like Seiko into action. Silky called out her own problem, emphasizing the fact that she stopped being a guardian somewhere along the way and turned into an evil spirit. She only regained sanity after losing to Okarun. EE is a child, and he's only dangerous because he doesn't know anything but his anger toward the Kitos. We literally saw him start as a spirit wanting to PROTECT kids, and transform into an evil spirit from anger.

One of my favorite details in this episode, is how Momo said, that she holds his hand because it's cold. When they come back, their hands are freezing. So they obviously didn't hold hands the entire way home because it's cold, they held hands the entire time *despite* it being freezing cold outside. They endured that shit to maximize hand-holding time.

It is awesome how much the anime uses classical music. We have their rendition of William Tell Overture used for hype moments, we got Chopin's Nocturn #2 in E flat major during the café montage, and others throughout the series. Next week is going to go HARD.

I like your breakdown of turbo granny's motivations, and how she was always this kind of mentor figure to the spirits of the troubled girls, and how that could tie in to how she does still kinda want to protect the Ayase household and Okarun. Now that you point it out I can really kinda see it. I hope that gets explored further.

This is where, in the manga, I stopped reading for a moment and wondered what in my life had led me to this specific moment in time. I questioned a lot of my life choices, just... breathed and reconsidered everything for a moment, then went back to reading. I remember it viscerally. XD

My two cents on Turbo Granny: I don't think we anime viewers have enough information to definitely say one way or another what her morality truly is. That said, I think there's enough evidence to suggest she is at least not totally malevolent. She fused with the Location Bound Spirit over a desire to protect and avenge the souls of the girls who had been violated and killed in the tunnel, and it seemed to me fairly obvious she helped Momo out when she was being assaulted by members of the Kito family at the hot spring. It remains to be seen if stuff like threatening Seiko and Momo was just bluster and if any of the help she's lent the crew is anything more than serving her own interests.
