Okarun

I can't wait to watch it damn I have work rn!!!

mincaft gaming

Perfect timing I just watched the first one you did (yes I know I’m late sue me)

Patrik Mrtvý

Holy shit so early the second one🔥 third movie is my favourite, hope it will come soon too❤️🔥

onepiecegod

just me or is their no audio?

The Pale King

Love that you are reacting to John wick the choreography is insane!

mincaft gaming

Also has she not known that Winston is also Blackbeard in pirates of the Caribbean or did she just not say that she knew??

Jonasbr174

I prefer when she is alone

Ivan

It really helps Keanu is practing Brazilian JJ, he really shows it off in hand to hand

Tuff

Can't wait for you to watch the third movie. That one still remains my favorite out of all of them and the fight choreography gets even more insane

Bruno Dion

Fun fact: in the first scene you see a sign for a movie theatre, and saw this movie in that movie theatre.

Kyutoko

Third is my favorite too.

YukoValis

Like I said. When John was building his character sheet he put everything he could into Impact resistance. lol

N00B

Chukwudi Iwuji is amazing. He played the Grand Evolutionary (GotG 3), Murn (Peacemaker S1) and Akoni here and his acting range is absolutely astounding. He also has such a unique yet versatile voice that I always wait until I hear it to confirm "Yup, that's him."

N00B

1:00:00 Glocks tend to use 9mm, 9mm Parabellum specifically, which doesn't have high penetration, both due to its low grain (amount of gunpowder) and due to it being a pistol round (rifle rounds are bottle-shaped with the bullet being smaller than the full cartridge in diameter, wheras pistol rounds are cylindrical and tend to have bullets as wide as the cartridge). Even if the round penetrated through, it would not be going fast enough to be lethal.

DrakeNoAubrey

dont worry i just watched the previous one and now watching this as well

N00B

"Let an enemy graze your skin, and you will cut his flesh. Let your enemy cut your flesh, and you will break his bones. Let an enemy break your bones, and you will take his life." -Bruce Lee, likely referencing an older proverb.

JAXMerrick

"You're chasing him in taxi cabs?" Funny thing that, a lot of taxi's in major cities are actually retired police interceptors. Taxi companies can get them for cheap, and they tend to still be very reliable vehicles. Also, funnily enough, they're probably still keyed alike across the fleet, which has it's pro's and con's.

Kyutoko

With a fucking pencil!

TheNoobThatCould

that gun trick around 1:45:00 is actually not scripted. its called a "press check" and keanu did it because he researched the types of guns hed be using for the film and found that type of gun often jams on the first bullet fired so thought as john wick he should also know that and therefore check the round slotted correctly. same for his little flick reloads btw, he was reloading faster than some trained military soldiers

Capt.J0HN

1:45:06 the gun trick in the air was, because that pistol is known for jamming, him doing that in such a tactical but smooth way was to check if it jammed or not, so he doesn't risk the jamming mid fight.

Kyutoko

I do NOT like mirror mazes. I got lost in one when I was five and I smashed my face into so many one-sided mirrors. I would just punch through them now.

thedangmaster

Keanu is in his 50s, close to 60s making this movie if i recall... The sheer stubbornness, pain and training he demonstrates is outstanding. Truly an Action hero i say

Kyutoko

I cannot wait for the Chapter 3, Parabellum reaction, it is the BEST of the series. WATCH IT TODAY ALICIA, I NEED IT.

Depresso

Lets go!. I wasn't expecting the second one so soon.

Omer Durrani

Holy moly the second one so soon? WE EATIN GOOD!

Rosinante

Literally woke up praying the second one would be up soon! Hallelujah 😭 the John Wick series is one of my favorite action series of all time. Watched the first one with my dad when it first came out and neither of us expected much but were blown away by the cinematography and fight choreography. I knew you’d love these movies

Jaffar Black Fang

Alicia you're gonna be an american so here's how escalator etiquette works here XD Me first Fuck everyone else is second lol

Jaffar Black Fang

1:31:13 What if the janitors are not assassins they're just pissed that they have to clean up all of the blood and bodies John is leaving everywhere

M

Everyone on that train just sits there watching. Very normal reaction for new york subway

Kap

Can't wait for the third. Gonna be so good.

Leo'mar Sharpclaw

The concierge of the continental was the voice actor of thordak in Vox Machina

Dysike

Ah yes, the start of my crush on Ruby Rose

Drailvarr R2Q5

as someone with a fully customized MAC 1014 (basically a copy of the Benelli M4 shotgun john uses in the tunnel scene), here is a fun fact: most models of the M4 or its clones have a base 5 round tube and you can commonly buy +2 tube extensions aftermarket. Competition variants of the gun commonly use a 9 round tube, but this is not the norm. This give you a max of 10 rounds (9 in the tube and 1 in the chamber). However, john fires 11 rounds before reloading after picking up the gun. This is possible through a method called "ghost loading" (officially referred to as "carrier loading") where after fully loading the tube you manually place one shell on top of the carrier and then one into the chamber. I just love that they actually count bullets in this series, it is refreshing.

xpasza

It is so funny seeing swedish actors playing russians in these movies, first Michael Nyqvist and now Peter Stormare.

Okarun

best movie ever

DankusMemes

I really hope they react to keanu's training

IFoundTheLight

Alicia 100% emo girl , even if I didn't know otherwise. "The Correct Way" gives it away.

Taka

1:30:38 the train's announcement there was spot on

QuibblesAndGitz

8 years later since the movie and a recent event reaffirmed that as the default behavior

QuibblesAndGitz

Faster than Most military soldiers tbf.. and not disrespecting them, its just that sub second handgun reloads arent the priority especially when pistols aren't a priority in training.. Thats more of a competitive speed shooting kinda thing, same with the flared mag wells

QuibblesAndGitz

Respectfully, your information is a bit inaccurate. Grain weight refers to the weight of the projectile, not the amount of gunpowder (a typically 9mm Para is between 115-124 grain, and 5.56 nato is 55-62 grain) and 9mm rounds can Absolutely penetrate more than one body and carry lethal force. Thats actually a major reason why law enforcement uses hollow points while military uses FMJ, is because of the concern of overpen. Because its faster and smaller surface area, and AR-15 rounds will penetrate its initial target better and deal more damage than a 9mm, but because the 5.56 projectile has half the mass, it loses energy quicker and is less likely to penetrate multiple targets in realistic circumstances than the 9mm.

N00B

Thank you for the correction. I'm now smarter than before.

Tor Andre Frantsvaag

Alicia is feeding us goooooooooooood the last days =D im gaining weight here !

Quotes

Thank you for being a decent person on the internet and taking correction in good faith. o7

burntbean20

Love the commentary/reaction. The beginning scene where john goes for his car, the car was supposed to be open but Keanu Reeves told the director that john wick would recognize his car's silhouette, that is why he uncovered his car first try. An interesting touch about this movie, can't wait for the 3rd movie reaction

Goobert

RIP to the goat

5Tom51

Pretty sure the "catacombs" were actually some old roman cistern, which is basically a sewage-system, not a place of rest for the dead.

Goobert

It still bothers me so much they don't have the cool subtitle text on screen

Fenronin (Dorian Dubourg)

People survive bullets in the head, sometime they walk fine right after without noticing it

Fenronin (Dorian Dubourg)

You don't ket a lane for people to walk you're supposed to wait in the escalator else you take the stairs

marlanes

i'm pretty sure they were still in rome in the subway stuff but i wasn't paying attention

Rowdeemunkee

One of my favorite suiting up scenes in film.

AuxOx

it's really the biggest strength these movies have, that and the cinematography. The fighting and gun usage is phenomenal. My only gripe is the silly usage of the suppressors in this film. Even with a .22 caliber suppressed pistol there's no way you're gonna be able to shoot firearms and not have people freaking out within 100 ft of you

Sage of All knowing

27:13 no He didnt pay for the help he got from santonio that is why he is here to ask for a favour

NickAsNickName

thought i heard/read about a guy whose wife point-blanked him with a revolver or something directly in the face, and he woke up that morning complaining about a headache. it's surprising how resilient people can be. it's like a fuckin' roulette wheel varying between fragile as hell and basically invincible

East_Coast_Overseer

It's so crazy, like "yo kill my sister" to "i can't believe you killed my sister". Like, I get why for appearances and to clean up loose ends but like... damn lol

YukoValis

So let us talk about the value of coins. One thing that trips up people is giving a coin for the hotel room. But if you think about it, hotels don't really spend much letting people use a room. Also in this world the hotels are the banks, so I don't think they are desperate for coins. I think someone showing up with a coin to such an important facility is more of letting them know this person is part of the underworld. All the other times a coin is used for simple things. Access to a club. Fair enough. Drinks at a bar, even though we don't know how many drinks it buys. Maybe it is a set of 3? Since Cassian used a coin to buy both their drinks. So if you put aside the hotel stay, the coins seem to have understandable values IMO. Coins seem to open doors just as much as they are used to purchase things.

2026-10-07 05:00 I love the opening with Peter Stormare because I can't not see it as a total role reversal from the end of Constantine.

Also; fun fact, that little move Keanu does where he flicks the gun while reloading and flings the magazine out of the mag well actually does speed up the reload according to the weapons specialist for the film and best of all Keanu created it himself.

Lance Ivy

to be fair if you were jimmy would you try to bring him in

Lance Ivy

that escalator bit bothered my american soul like i heard and egal screech in my heart

Noah Benden

why di netflix get rid of the cool subtitles the movie was supposed to have

daverboy

It is an amazing testament to framing, VFX, or probably both, that the camera can't be seen in any of the shots in the mirror exhibit.

James William MacShane

I'm not on the discord, so I'm gonna post here. I hope you will consider reacting to Boondock Saints 1 & 2, Willem DeFoe is in both.

Michael

I’m too used to One Piece bounties so when I see 7M I think that’s chump change.

Kyutoko

During the scene where John is infiltrating the party and the music is going on. The red neon arches on stage. Did anyone else just immediately go "Oh, Donkey Kong!"? Or is that just me?

Drailvarr R2Q5

100% agree with the idea that way most media, these movies included, portrays suppressors is fucking dumb (I actually own one for my .308). That’s it I would argue that suppressed .22 caliber pistols would function similarly to the pistol scene in the movie, except with much lower accuracy with the firearm due to the fact that .22LR it’s not exactly a “precision” round. The main problem is they’re not using .22s in the movie, I’m pretty sure they’re using guns chambered in 9mm or .45. That said it does bring up an interesting point because .45 ACP is actually a naturally subsonic round, which makes suppressing it extremely effective. The main problem with .45 is the size, because as far as handguns are concerned, it is a massive round.

Joe

John wasn't doing a gun trick at 1:45:04. 1911's are notorious for jamming, he was making sure that the first round wasn't jammed.

DrCatspaw

To be fair, if the target had reality bending powers I'm sure the bounty would be much higher.

Cobra

1911's in general are not notorious for jamming. That particular 1911 he's using is made by Kimber and their 1911's are notorious for jamming a lot. and while what he did wasn't a trick he did do it in an unnecessary way. what he did is called a press check, which is where you slightly pull the slide back to inspect the chamber to see if there is a round in it. (Not so the first round isn't jam). he could've done it much more easily with 2 hands but he did it with 1 because it looks cool on camera.

Valewall

1:20:00 I just saw Payday on the wall and had neuron activation. Was not expecting to see those characters in John wick. Completely missed them before.

Shayne Webb

I know the new dog wasn't given a name. But, whenever anyone asked what his name was and John kept saying no, does the dog actually have no name or is the name actually No? As in like no killing the dog or there be consequences

Kyutoko

Remember earlier when he told Cassian, Gianna's protector, "If you take it out you die"? He did NOT give Ruby Rose's character, Santino's protector, the same "professional courtesy" COLD. BLOODED.
