Thinkace

Don’t know if u know me rat queen but there’s this cool show called Steven universe I hope u start reacting to it <3

N00B

Rebecca Sugar's writing excells because of 2 specific principles she understands. 1. Character = Plot and vice versa. The plot is always driven by characters and their personal desires and the characters are always shaped by the plot. 2. Less = more. She always gives us JUST enough context for the immediate story to work and leaves the rest vague to force intregue and make us interested to see more. That's what made the "Simon" episode in Adventure Time amazing and when SU is at its best, these two reasons are why it shines.

Eliteguard99

She-ra AND Steven Universe? Alicia you’re spoiling us!

Okarun

hopefully she'll do re zero soon, or continue john wick

Okarun

what if she starts other stuff too like SVTFOE or Ben 10 series?

ExcelDamage

omg steven universe is finally here!! hope we can stick it out all the way :D

Vincent Price

so alicia never had tuna pizza before

NekoSoophie!

Seriously can’t wait for more!

Matthew L

hey alicia you dont have to respond to this but be carefull when watching steven some websites have the epsodes in the wrong order

Gamer Kane

Let's see. Batman the Animated Series, Original Ben 10, Ed Edd n Eddy, Chowder, MLP Friendship is Magic, BoJack Horseman, all these amazing shows and instead we got Steven Universe... At least it isn't Star vs the Forces of Evil.

Gage Franke

Steven Universe is great and she's loving it so far. Quit being a hater dude

Nico

Lots of people love Steven universe, why complain over her watching one show you happen to dislike when there's tons of other reactions.. zero reason to bring this negativity here for no reason.

N00B

Steven Universe is a very contested show. Its high are high but its lows are low. Its understandable that people would be hesitent with it.

Gamer Kane

I gave you six Nico and Gage no it isn't a great show, it had an amazing first couple seasons then destroyed everything it had later every way it could find. Half amazing half terrible means it's a mediocre show. I'm not going into why because even with my dislike of this show I still have the decency not to ruin it for others.

Pell D. indestructible

You should check out the pilot for Steven Universe, the designs are pretty different

samuel

is this another one of those shows that youre gonna watch 2 episodes every 6 months of ?

Bix

hey?! Star vs the Forces of Evil is still great, just not the last two seasons

Gamer Kane

I honestly believe the finale season is enough to erase the rest of the shows positives. At least a large majority of Steven Universe is either amazing or watchable before falling apart and I can still enjoy it.

Soul

I have never binged something so fast. I kinda regret it because now I have to wait for more. Please do more binges of Steven.

YukoValis

I am glad you are enjoying it so. : ) season 1 is a hurdle for some, but it is all worth it.

Nym

LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOO IT'S LION!!!!!!!!!!!

Ockto

I just got off watching ED Anime's most recent Steven Universe post, where Alicia raided him right in the middle of it. What timing. PEAK INCOMING

Adam

So, why the fuck are you commenting on this if you hate it?

Adam

OG Ben 10 was a pile of shit. But I wouldn't comment that on uploads of it if she ever does it.

Adam

Also a standard Writing thing that needs to be done more. You wanna give just enough breadcrumbs the watchers/reader is invested, but not so many that they don't feel the need to go farther.

N00B

The ending of the original show was universally bashed, including by its fans. The show is still mostly good, but it has bumps that keep it from being "great".

Sam Marsh

Between playing Amethyst and Vee from the Owl House, Michaela Dietz just can't help voicing lovable characters.

Raskilion

This was a good binge.... GIVE ME MOOOREE!!

Burke

many dont remember this but when the show was first airing there was an actual official keep beach city weird tumblr blog for ronaldo that was releasing as each episode released.

Julio Castillo

There's also Glass Boy from AT Distand Lands.... but that role was not as memorable.

Joy Blackdragon

The Steven Universe journey begins! So stoked to see Alicia react to Steven Universe, my favorite reactor reacting to my favorite series, (that is not ReBoot/Beast Wars). Seriously surprised it took 5 episodes for Alicia to adopt Steven, but I knew it was inevitable.

Ryan Hayes

MORE MORE MORE! I NEEEEEEEEDS THIS SERIES BINGED

Matheus Pompeu

I don't know if Alicia is informed, but I remember her digging Adventure Time's songs. I really hope she gets to know who Rebecca Sugar is

Zakry

this and adventure time were my comfort shows growing up i love them both so much and neeeeeeed alicia to get to ocean/mirror so she can see peak

xman t

I love that you love amethyst so much so early on because she was a lot of people's least favorite of the gems early on, even though she was always my favorite

LordTouchMe

She's great as Molly's brother in "The Ghost & Molly McGee" too

Kaze951

A sudden Steven Bomb courtesy of the Rat Queen? A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one at that! Can't wait for the next bomb/reaction! (Steven Bomb is a thing look it up lol)

OmniOrcus

Love how much you are enjoying SU. Really looking forward to your next set of watches. We have some good ones coming up. :)

Julio Castillo

So..... we continue the trend of Dee Bradley Baker voicing absolutely every animal or creature on all animated shows. But still.... remember that the person who voices Captain Rex and all the awesome clones in Clone Wars is also the person doing all these Lion noises xdddd.

filthycasual22

Yea everyone had the same initial reaction to fish stew pizza, but I'm pretty sure they got normal pizza toppings like pepperoni and such, it's just they've got way more fish options on the menu than you'd ever want for pizza.

Kurayami Saidai

i binged alicias binge and now theres no more to binge aaaaaaa

Mushy64

It’s just like how it was back in the 90s with Frank Welker

JuanmaRailgun

Friendship is such an appropriate codeword :D

Caison

never joined a patreon so fast, hope you enjoy the masterpiece that is SU

Adrian

Steven Universe is my goddamn comfort show. I'm so happy to see you binging it.

Nuk Limpear

Saaaame, another reactor I follow on here literally JUST finished her journey with this wonderful show two weeks ago. Now I get to go on this journey again with Alicia? Sign Me Up!!

Nuk Limpear

Alicia: starts doing the "pregante" meme Me: well, I know what SU animation I'm going to be linking once it's no longer spoilers :p ...that's gonna be a while though.

TabbyTheCake

Funny enough with the reactors I watched they often hate Pearl first or consider their least favorite lol But I only like watch two reactors (three now :3) But I rarely do see Amethyst as a favorite too this early

S Le

Which reactor is this?

S Le

I just binged watched your binge watch. When is the next binge? I am living for your reactions. They’re so alive and your energy is infectious. You give us more than just real time reactions but not too much where it becomes a slog to get through. You also don’t talk over key dialogue either. You found the perfect balance of providing reactor commentary.

Stuart Boland

Nooooo. Ah well I hope you come back to it. It gets awesome soon

Kirara

please Ms. Alicia we really want the new SU binge 🥹
