I highly doubt that it was all for the content or a producer decision to keep Tom. I know that these shows, especially most of Gordon Ramsey's cooking competition shows, are not as completely "let them do it on their own and not help in the slightest" at all and anything that goes goes, but I feel like at least 90 percent of it has to be based on what the actually choices from Gordon and the competitors make, right? I mean, I know it's a drama series along with being a competition, but I genuinely believe it's more genuine competition and choices from the people actually in the competition than drama and only producer chosen stuff.

The funny thing is. The pants sagging started in prisons by men who were basically the bottom bitches getting fucked. Then those same guys kept doing it when out of prison, and for some reason black men thought it was cool and kept doing it, and then some white men copied it cause they thought it was cool too. I mean the sexist perspective at 27:50 is that Men are the professional cooks they work better and make the better food for the customers but then when they get home they are supposed to lay back and have a women cook food for them because they worked hard, it won't be as good as his food but it will be easier and shows how the woman is "subservient". It is hypocritical/stupid but that is how that logic works.

Gordon clearly already made up his mind, he knows women will go to the end and choose to leave the rotting weasel Tom to sabotage the guys team even more. Let's all remember he was a stock broker he's an asshole down to his core.

Its hard to see it that way when stuff like the steak competition arbitrarily came down to 11 v 12, and Tom getting to stay this episode when its clear the team don't want him/his bad performance and attitude. I'd agree more if it was a tie between them at the end but Gordon clearly has producers in his ear wanting the drama over actual competition/potential. I'd genuinely love to watch a competition closer to a real "boot camp" thats primary point is molding great chefs thru pressure....over "good" television : /

Good luck and speedy recovery :). About the episode. The whole men vs. women thing starts to annoy me. It's just a breeding ground for sexist bullshit and drama that doesn't come from working in the kitchen which for me is really unnecessary. It's still entertaining but so was season one without all that.
