9:31 Actually Pearl, Peridot did told you but Steven was in a hurry.

Darc Hart94

Steven making mistake after mistake. Sounds a lot more like his mom every day

Bo Ferguson

To be fair, Frybo WAS still nightmare fuel. So was Cat Fingers. And Together Breakfast... Point is, this show was ALWAYS kinda messed up 😅

King'sBard

The "I just want my dad" scene always fucks me up too, I was skipping through it this time and it still got me.

Faroth

so, Ronaldo was right: "stone people keeping a human zoo in space"

Egregore

Not so fun fact: “Human Zoos” were a real thing; Many colonial powers during the 19th and 20th centuries held “ethnological expositions” at animal zoos where they publicly displayed Africans and other marginalized groups in their so-called “natural state”; depicting them as primitive savages who needed to be “civilized” by western colonists.

The funny thing about her saying "Why doesn't she ever tell us anything? This is why we don't listen to her!" about Peri is that Pearl perfectly articulated the EXACT reason they're in this situation in the first place! He felt that he couldn't trust them to tell him things he needed to know, and because of that he tried to find out without them, which led to him making a decision based on incomplete information, which as a result turned out to be completely disastrous. She was so on-nose with that line but she can't even see it!

Anzac-A1

I think Lapis' VA was sick or something at the time, so she couldn't record lines. Pretty common occurrence, actually.

Plantboy

Steven crying for his Dad was something that hit hard for me especially. Growing up it was just me and him and whenever I felt scared, troubled or sad I would call for my Dad. I had a feeling Alicia would have a similar reaction I had as well.

Eyal Lev

kinda glad I joined patreon when I did (even if the reason was because of the recent unfortunate circumstances). now I get to see the uncensored reaction to the blue song

thedangmaster

Ahh depictions of Colonialism and their agents. It really is dumb when you think about it

Hyhyd

Hey mate, we're glad you could be here regardless of the reason. ^^ enjoy the content!

Hyhyd

Here to continue my bingewatch of Steben Uniberse after Alicia's Youtube channels got YOINKED (I'm sorry, it's the codeword)

Valewall

When I saw the warp scene I remember going "Oh, These guys are getting wonka'd"

LittleMoist

is the human zoo really so unbelievable? gems, even the crystal gems until recently, have consistently thought of humans as lesser beings.

SweetCandle

This fun little show about Cookie Cats is great, isn't it?

John Playstation

Oh wow, they almost did that scene from The Expanse (you know the one) in a kids show. That’s messed up

Brian Ward

09:32 Actually Peridot did but Steven was in a rush.
