Yay, more episodes

Maniacal Hero

While this, in my opinion, the weakest episode of Season 2 I don’t think it deserved the hate it got. Fun fact: This episode was a back door pilot for a potential series centered around characters outside of Hawkins, specifically possibly Kali

Immeasurably Me

The aunt called hopper. She did not call the DOE. She literally said hopper gave her the number and Florence is the station secretary or whatever her job is.

Talon Karrde

People did not like this episode... at all. To a comedic degree. Probably because, more than anything, it came right after a huge cliffhanger. And suddenly we are stuck so far away, doing things that effect nothing. I wonder if it would have been, at least somewhat better relieved, if this had been episode 6, instead of 7.

Patrick Waldeck

I remember when this episode came out people fucking HATED it.

Shadowsofpain

I always wonder what this series would've been like, most of the characters where so unlikeable which makes sense if you wanted them to have character arcs in there own series but I wonder if maybe they made them too unlikeable that it made them unpalatable for the general audience.

DeVaunBeats

What? Guys she was beingr responsible. She called the Police Station because Hopper came back before. She was worried another child might be in danger. Like, come on. She was speaking to Florence, the woman who takes calls at the police station. 11 left because she didn't want to see Hop.

DeVaunBeats

I knew Alicia would like this episode, especially with what it means for El's journey. The hate this episode gets is so weird.

Hellguin

I started binging this for the first time when Alicia started it, WHY was there hate?

Reactions With Will

If you don't know about Mass Of Man, he is an independent artist who supports the reaction community. So he wouldn't block you, he also callabs with many other independent artists who also love reactors checking out their music.

Alice Faust

The fact that people hated this episode proves that general audiences deserve slop

DeVaunBeats

People were mad it happened right after the previous episodes cliffhanger and thought it added nothing to the story ( which is bs since El needed to do this to not only power up, but also realize where her real home was) They kept accusing it of being a backdoor pilot for a spinoff which I don't think was ever confirmed but I might be wrong.

Vikkiloo

It has now been 7 episodes without them acknowledging Bob's actor. Another forgivable one, since he wasn't present.

DarkSedgie25

It still would have been right after will being burned along with the vines and saving hopper. It wouldve still been a bad place to put it. Its hard to find a place to have this as its doesnt suit the vibe of the other plots going on this late into the season. And you cant add it earlier because you need the buildup to el leaving in the first place. In honesty they wrote themselves into a corner with her plot and it wouldnt have fit in well however they did it, in my opinion. As a standalone its great, it just doesnt fit in with the rest of the season because its so isolated from it.

Kap

Killing is old hat for Eleven. She's technically a mass murderer.

Afell Tale

Funny enough it took me last episode to realize myself.

Kap

kinda strange to see people cheer for the manson family

Kap

Not many are gonna coom for the manson family ripoff.

Kap

You're gonna be hard pressed to make a believeable story about dumb punks killing their way around the country but its ok because they sometimes kill people who hurt Kali. Keep in mind that the staff that would've interacted with her is probably about 15 at most. She would've moved on from the staff of the facility to people who didn't kiss her ass, tried to stop her friends from stealing shit, random people who bumped her by accident, crushes who turned her down, baristas who didn't add enough sugar, anyone she didn't like just to feed her desire to kill.

Kap

Manson family isn't the kind of thing mentally stable people will cheer for. Kali and her group killed medication nurses and secretaries who have families with young children. Her reason to kill is just that someone worked at the facility, so they need to die. Fuck the fact that doctors performing secret experiments aren't going to tell anyone within earshot of what they do.

Kap

Kali didnt see 11 as family, but as a tool. Serial killing manipulators are like that

Alice Faust

bro you are *really* salty about this episode

Kap

I find it hard to think a character is “good” when they kill indiscriminately.

AbsurdToastling

The actor for Ray is the same actor as Jonathan Kent, Clark's dad, in James Gunn's Superman! Love that

BartonBelladonna

it's something called a flawed character, an anti-hero, and also a fucking mentally unwell and tortured child. are you stupid or are you watching the show with your eyes closed and ears earplugged?

Kap

An anti hero is just a villain. Murdering people because you can is not heroic.

Yovan_Night (Purple Rain🟪)

It was because it was such a jarring shift from the cliffhanger of last episode. I like this episode, but the fact that people didn’t like it is also understandable. I swear, mfs can never just try to see where both sides are coming from, bro😭

AnonDex

Wow, i somehow missed her 6th episode reaction and thought i already saw it and continued with 7, and didn't even notice i missed something because it started with 5th episode end

YorHaDen VT

16:30 Good ol' Kentucky Fried Dinosaur

Ink Magus

Must be a dull world seeing everything in black and white with no shades or nuance.

Kap

revenge killing is not "nuance"

DYlan Pacheco

Nah you just sound like a bitch lmao

Kap

Are you 12? Fucking child thinking an insult is going to win an argument. Probably a graduate of the Learing Center.

Mike

I mean, there is inherent nuance when it's a character killing the adults who destroyed her childhood. Did you also have a problem with Eleven killing people in the school during season 1? I mean, after all, she killed indiscriminately. She could have knocked them out, no? You're just one of those people who hated the episode for no reason and is now mad someone else enjoyed it.

Zally bee

Doo bee doo bee Doooooo

Zeke

Never was a fan of this episode, It just feels so out of place, especially considering what is going on with the other characters at the moment. I think it wouldn't feel so odd if they had found a way to make this event happen earlier in the season, and fleshed it out a bit more.

Morris

As one of the five chicagoans you mentioned... Yeah, don't worry, we know our city looks like shit.

TwinCat

I know that clip, and honestly, I never, and still don’t, really listen to Justin Bieber, but I’ll give him that, the guy can fucking sing, Jesus!

A

This episode should be titled “Skip” cause you won’t want to see it a 2nd time. This is by far the worst and most boring episode of season 1-4. Every character is completely irrelevant to the main story apart from the other girl from the lab.
