otto is seriously one of my favorite characters, he's such an average guy, who plays off subaru's stupid remarks so well. he's not just the perfectly average friend subaru needs in this world of superpowered individuals, he's also the perfect example of how guys can sometimes just have their best friends appear out of nowhere. you see that meme a lot of people being like: "oh this guy yeah he just spawned and we became best friends for life". especially so from otto's side, cause he never met subaru until they saved the village at the end of arc 3(unlike subaru who had a less than great first impression with the whole pushing subaru off the cart to save himself from the white whale). so they maybe know eachother for about a week at this point.

Man all the Betty scenes this season just instantly make me cry. Subaru seeing her hugging the Tome (what he thinks is the Gospel at that moment) is so heartbreaking... He feels betrayed by a person who's trying her hardest to save him, and who he had such a strong connection to. Love all the theory crafting you're doing Alicia ! It's so fun listening to you :> I think most people on Youtube are enjoying it too

Keep coming up with your own theories Alicia. That's a big part of what makes this show fun and amazing. I can't even think of a single theory I had or heard about that ended up being right yet......well except for a few obvious seeming ones, but other than that this show really messes with you and changes things up in ways at least I didn't expect.

Honestly, theories are a HUGE part of the experience in watching this series. I personally love to see what people have cooked up where I can compare it to what little I do know is correct and go "Nyeh-heh-heh" to myself every time, it's great. If people get mad at you for getting things wrong when Lord knows they got nothing right either at the same point, then they've misunderstood what it means to be a first-time viewer.
