So his "frog" has been referenced as the size of a European Toad by the author. They can be anywhere from 1 to 10 inches. And Maomao mentions that Jinshi is on the larger size.

There is an ongoing theory that Maomao is on the spectrum and/or ace and this episode really hammered home the theory for the former. Then again both her bio parents (and probably her foster father too) all share the same lack of emotional intelligence too, so it might be learned behaviour and what little empathy Maomao has comes from her 'sisters'

I think the lack of emotional intelligence is more a Lakan thing - Fengxian (Mao Mao's mother) has the other side of Mao Mao's flaws where she has trouble being vulnerable and honest about her own feelings (which is why she never told Lakan that she planned to have his child to reduce her price so he could buy her contract). I've always seen their story as a cautionary tale of what could happen to Mao Mao and Jinshi if Mao Mao continues to avoid confronting her feelings about Jinshi. Luomen's got other issues, but I'm fairly sure he's actually the most well adjusted of the three members of the La Clan we've seen so far.

I doubt shes ace and more just highly comfortable around sexual situations like she grew up in a brothel so she dosnt romanticise it and views it more like dancing since its only been taught as a way to entertain and not exactly "love". She also is very socially aware and dosnt pursue a relashionship due to the obvious power imbalance.

I'm pretty sure there is at least well-founded speculation that ASD are a inherited disability. Having one or both parents be autistic would only make it more likely for her to have the condition.

Yeah the spectrum runs deep in La family. Both the current head Lakan, Maomaos step brother Lahan (adopted by Lakan) and his brother (unnamed) have similar hyperfixation as Maomao does. For Lakan its Xianxi/Go, for Lahan its numbers, and for the brother its agriculture (dude LOVES Potatoes).
