Fun fact about dog actors: when they're "attacking" and you can see their tails, the tails are basically guaranteed to be cgi'd because the dogs are too happy about doing a good job that their tails are wagging.

I think my favorite part about this being the super bowl episode is that the killer is played by James Van Der Beek who was famous at the time for playing a college football player in a movie. Guy knocked out of the park with this role. Real hole in one. Sports metaphor!
