This series is VERY emotionally heavy, one of the few anime to make me cry. But it is still one of my favorite anime of all time, very glad you are continuing it!

This show is so beautiful but SO damn rough. But the premise itself is so important. People - kids - like this are real. Life can be so cruel, so unfair. And we all deserve to find joy, peace, and beauty however we can. And sometimes? That truly means making it for ourselves.

Angel beats is amazing but can be so emotionally draining. Specially with how sensitive you are and even more so toward children. Keep at it though, it stays amazing and I'm sure you'll love it.

Oh dear. It didn't click with me at first, but as soon as Otonashi's flashback started, I realized that you'd absolutely understand what his sister's condition is. They actually straight up say it in the dub, iirc. To me, it gets harder to see this episode every time I rewatch the show because I relate more and more to the way Otonashi felt about life before finding his purpose. I've finally started getting the help I need, but I need to climb back the past 2 decades of going downhill, so it's gonna be tough, especially since the descent accelerated over time.
