this episode was mostly animated by Vincent Chansard, the guy who's done a bunch of amazing animated One Piece episodes, mostly the Brogy transformation scenes. you'll hopefully like the Movie that will take place after these scenes

A fun explanation of the symbolism of Domi Reversi. In the board game Othello, two players compete with small checkers-sized disks that are white on one side and black on the other. Each player picks a colour and tries to get as many of their coloured pieces on the board as possible, usually by placing two of their coloured pieces between a straight line of their opponents colours, thus flipping the pieces from white to black or vise versa.

There's also a movie coming out in February, which is gonna be canon this time, it will adapt the immediate next part of the manga straight after this episode, so your watch order should be the movie first in February (it's called God Valley) and then the next season in April

Can’t wait for The One Piece to see how it is but in the meantime I highly recommend watching the 6 theatrical films that are on Crunchyroll next before then. But if you don’t watch all of them then AT LEAST watch One Piece film Strong World before the next “season” of the main series starts.

If you plan on seeing any of the noncanon OP movies I highly recommend watching Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island for Halloween. It’s a really good psychological horror/mystery that roughly takes place between Skypiea and Water 7. You may need a friend to watch it with you though.

EXACTLY. Like what else could they possibly have Luffy fight with his GOD FRUIT. Also, they CLEARLY have had a user of the OP OP fruit (Law's fruit) to make them immortal by sacrificing the user of the fruit (hence why all the knights of God are immortal, Imu can give and take powers I'm guessing)

My theory has to do with long ring long land arc: the davy back game. Because remember, is canon and oda said there is no filler, so why making that canon? Because is important! How so? Imu and joyboy played davy back 800 years ago, joyboy crew won 1st round, won the ancester of vivi and she has the power of the pawpaw fruit that kuma has, so joyboy ask her to spread around the qorld the poneglyph, she did it because now joyboy is her capatin, so imu took it as treason Round 2 was won by imu's people, the multitude of kings seduced by the power imu was giving them but still didnt have inmortality... and imu choosed the one option nami mentioned in longeinglonland arc tht everyone disliked that isnt against the rules but everyone found dishonorable: imu choosed Joyboy For round 3 is supposed to be a cptains match up but jpyboy is now part of imu's "crew", so the game is incomplete ans joyboy apologize and hia crew disbanded creating the D clan that is loyal to joyboy's ambitions , the D as a dream or as a sideways Smile :D Imu has somwone with the OP OP fruit so make it make the sqitxh heart stuff, put joyboy in that body and oeder joyboy to use his amazing haki to make the immortal surgery so joy boy dies and makes imu double strong and die but the fruit banish nd he cant collect it and the game of davy back is incomplete So what is the One PieceM is a literal ONE piece of the 3 pieces bet in the game, so only JoyBoy can play use it to challenge imu for the bet of the moment: the freedom of the world I know is silly that the Foxxy arc becomes relevant but is something oda would do
