Anna

I don't think the 1st OP would have canceled a whole party if it was snacks again he stole. it was about him going into her purse taking out her wallet and stealing money after she gave him a 5$ bill. she said how she is strapped for money and planned a elaborate birthday and then just before it he steals money from her

Okay that was a good take on the first story.

And also Alicia missed the part where the mom said she’s cancelling the party because if someone in the house is stealing money then she can’t trust all those strangers in the house, but started saying the mom was only blaming the son pretty much

Dang Alicia really giving the kid too much benefit if the doubt, it’s pretty obvious the kid stole the 5 bucks out of greed and nothing else, but undeserved to go as far as cancelling a party

In the US, yes you can be convicted on circumstantial evidence

Idk saying the mom is harming the child’s growth by not believing his lies is a little much to me, especially since there’s not much of a good way to go about that other than conveniences: mistrust If you believed them or even pretended to, that would only enable them to lie more often because they think they can get away with it. Best just to call the their bluff when you know it
