Lmao your sister's very relatable, I'm also a huge yapper that is horrible at gouging when people are actually done talking so I keep up accidentally interrupting people because they made a slight pause in their speech. I always feel so bad for it, like I promise I'm not doing that on purpose I'm just excited and thought you were done talking 😭 I do manage to keep quiet in movie theaters though but I'd be lying if I said it isn't super hard for me to not start yapping when I get excited about a movie. Like I'll sit through the entire movie just BURNING to yap about it right then and there and I sure will as soon as the credits start rolling but I do my best to not speak during the actual movie. I will however continously shoot the person I'm with these "Yo if I could talk right now I'd tell you the funniest joke!" or "Can you believe that just happened!?" or "Boy do I have something to say about this scene rn!" glances haha

It’s amazing how media can serve as a safe haven and inspire hope for people when they are at their lowest point. Shows like Steven Universe and The Owl House really helped me and others like me keep moving forward even when we thought there was no point, and help us believe that no matter how bad things are, we have to keep trying for a better tomorrow. As someone very into all the fanfiction stuff Steven and Peridot made a "baby's first fanfic" which is kinda the stereotype a lot of people associate with fanfiction. Fanfic has a really wide range of quality, I've read stuff that could win awards if it actually got published, I've also read a lot objectively bad stuff too, but everyone is just doing it for fun so it's not that serious.
