Yeaaaah Stolas is definitely my less favorite character now. This is such a hard watch because I used to loved Stolas character just to be down graded to knock off version of angle dust.

I've seen a lot of people online miss the point that Stolas is trying to punish himself, one of his listed "kinks" is knifeplay something we've seen him have trauma with since the Striker incident. One of Dirty Bird's lines is literally "I've earned no love." If you look at his messages with Loona he told her the wrong address potentially meaning that in the event something went wrong he didn't want to be found in time.

As much as a huge pro Stolitz fan as i am, dirty bird is a guilty pleasure and loved seeing it and felt good for Stolas though as said should have told Blitz.

Okay but he can't actually get killed without holy weapons, and he and Blitzo use bear traps, good catch on the address thing tho, I did not notice that.

I agree it's unlikely for him to actually get killed, but these hookups appear to be taking place in Pride which would have a higher amount of Angelic weapons due to the half decade of exterminations. Plus the reason I pointed out knifeplay is cause we see as recently as episode 1 of season 3 he still has nightmares of Striker stabbing him.

The problem is that while it's implied, it's never CLEARLY stated. When it comes to stuff like this it's better to take an extra moment to make things extremely clear rather then indirectly stating it and having everyone get confused later

Stolas in past scenes has the prioritised his relationship with via. In loo loo land he ignored his daughter in order to flirt with blitz up to the point Octavia cried about it alone. In Season 2 episode 2 the same thing happen where stolas was to busy fighting with Stella to pay attention to his daughter. These lead to Octavia to run around in LA. Where blitz and stolas proceeded to waste time instead of looking for Octavia.

The shows tells us that stolas cares for his daughter but shows us that she’s the last thing on stolas’ mind. Allways an afterthought never the first.

am i wrong? im pretty sure Stolas has said that they aren't together a few times at this point....surely when he gave Blitzo the crystal and took back the Grimoire was the most defining point?
