The visual storytelling in Season 2 here is so crazy good. Season 1 was pretty but they didn't really use the imagery to tell the emotional and thematic story of the characters as often as I wish they did, but Season 2 goes really sickomode with the shot composition and blocking

Alicia you are giving this show WAY too much credit. Making assumptions about characters and being way to lenient on the story telling. Maybe it gets better as it goes on, I haven't watched past this episode yet. But going off just this, this feels like a massive down grade from season one. There is no solid main character to follow. Is it the kid? King? One of the others we are supposed to care about? Because we don't learn enough about any one for me to care. The story bounces around to much it feels almost random. By the end of episode one of the first season we knew who David was and I was fully invested in seeing where he would go. This season? Who is the main character and why should I care?

I love to think that we hold onto what we were at the start, and take pride in what it has become...if your able to ignore most of how its used nowadays, but if you think about it, even the past of allot of things during its start was kinda used for bad things as well, or you know General ideas of what more you can do with it before it became a common place thing.

Slight amendment to that. Season 1 is 2075-6. There's the time skip in the middle after David takes over following Maine's death. Skinny David is 2075, big David with Maine's arms is 2076. The rest is correct, this season is a year after V's adventure in the game
