Yeah, this is one of the wierd things about this anime. Even though Iruma's Senpai DIDN'T kill anyone, didn't mean he didn't TRY AND INTEND to do it. Him getting off lightly, and Iruma still looking up to him are both really wierd bordering on stupid. That said, love this anime.

I mean, this is the demon world. These are demons. The word "friend" didn't even exist in the demon world until Iruma came. And while we do see Iruma imparting his own values onto the demons, we also see Iruma adopting demon values like a demon's ambition.

Tbh i really like the outcome of iruma, mostly because it establishes how naive and forgiving he is, that also is understandable given his parents and coming from an abusive household. As Kalego says Iruma is severely accustomed to putting himself in danger and not fight back or get angry towards those responsible, also i really like that Kalego even though been the trope of an ahole to his students shows care and does his job and recognizes achievements where they are earned with the tricky award
