The whole thing feels more like an abuse victim crawling back to their abuser, which is a shame—because I know that’s not the story they intend to tell—but then they need to give Octavia a proper arc instead of just using her as a plot device to make Stolas’s life better or worse.

I like via's conclusion of "I'm tired of hating you", but at the same time, it feels too soon in the sense that the last time we saw via(excluding the short) was when she cut stolas out of her life. We didn't get to see her get tired of hating him

Neglect is a form of abuse, and the fact that the show repeatedly tries to gaslight us into believing otherwise—or tells us that Octavia will "come to understand"—undermines her as a character. The writers use her merely as a plot device to make Stolas feel better or worse about himself.

At the end Blitzø remembered what Verosika told him at her party. He is really doing his best to be a better person, and be considerate of the people around him. Though sadly, by prioritising everyone else’s happiness, I fear he’s neglecting his own.

Got to love Prime's subtitles messing with some lines. The talk between Blitz and Striker kept mentioning fausil not foul souls, basically the shark demons like Chaz. So Striker is part imp, part fausil while being racist against them and toting the imp supremacy shit.

This episode (and a number of episodes from S3, frankly) are a really great example of how even white lies for the sake of comfort can really escalate. Even something as simple as believing someone when they say "I'm fine".

The worse part of that conversation between Stolas and Blitzo is the fact that it just reinforces Barbie’s statement. Blitzo wasn’t around, and Stolas’s life got noticeably better, by like, a wide margin. I honestly think Season 3 might include a “self-delete” episode, because Blitzo is now doing what a lot of people do when they feel it getting that bad, they hide the bad from everyone else. I’m very scared for part two.

I honestly feel like at the end of this whole series stolas isn't going to be with blitz or vasago, I feel like he's going to go through a whole emotional situation to where he chooses himself and learns to love himself before he can love anybody else or be in a relationship

It’s interesting how the beginning and the ending are such parallels. Vassago was able to pick up on Stolas’s melancholy while Stolas is on such a high from his day with Via! I will say, I am a bit like Stolas, there are some cues I do not pick up on if I am so focused and tunneled vision, I feel like if Blitz was more upfront and honest with his feelings of his day, I know Stolas would have listened and comforted him, but Blitz did not want to take that away from Stolas. How this season started, to me was Blitz acting nice to get something from Stolas (ie a romantic relationship) and that kind of became reality when Blitz went off the rails during the Court episode but we do see growth in how Blitz reacted to Stolas going to dinner with Vissago and now with Blitz not wanting to ruin Stolas’ day with his shitty one. God, I really do not care for stories with miscommunication and will they won’t they! But I am so invested that I can’t just stop watching now… it’s like fucking How I Met Your Mother all over again! 🤣🤣🤣😭

I kind of wish there was an episode of Vassago and Via first meeting and establishing the teacher/student dynamic, but otherwise I loved it. I do feel like they over used Stryker a little, cause I had the same "Really?" response Alicia had when he popped up. But being with barb might make him more interesting.

He himself says that while he had reasons to neglect via, it doesn't excuse him doing it. Stolas, and by extension the show, knows the way he treated octavia was bad and he promises her he won't neglect her from now on. Are people not allowed to acknowledge their faults and become better now?

He has ALWAYS negected his own happiness. Thats kind of how we got here in the first place. The difference now is that the few people who were trying to help him (Mox and Stolas) are busy with their own lives. Blitz has no one right now to lean on. Fizz is busy trying to figure himself out, and Loona has only just started to really aknowledge their relationship in a meaningful way. I foresee a big break coming. Blitz is going to implode at some point and its going to take his friends and loved ones coming together to show him he has a support structure to lean on, even if its not the perfect one he might want
