Alicia is way too clever for plot twists I stg she predicts and figures out everything ahead of time xD

Yeah I think you picked up on it but Aang can only use Airbending at the moment except for when using the Avatar State which he has no control over (because those powers come from his past lives who did master all 4 elements). I loved this episode because 1) Bumi is brilliant 2) It points out one of the big weaknesses of the Air Benders. They have, arugably, the scariest bending arts (think of all the stuff you can do with manipulating air) but due to their pacifist lifestyles their entire art is around using their style in non-lethal methods while avoiding/evading rather than attacking. That may have been fine for a nation of airbenders (although since the fire nation killed them in their own homes maybe not) but it doesn't work for the Avatar. The Avatar can't be restrained by their nation's beliefs - which is why in the old world they were usually taken away at 16 to be trained (the monks broke the rule and told Aang too early out of fear of the fire nation) and taught what Avatars needed to know and do. Aang is completely unprepared for his role and that's what makes this hero's journey so fun. My babbling aside - Loving this reaction series! So happy you picked this one up!

Bumi said, the last test is a duel. The appearance of the cabbage man. another ATLA meme I dont remember any english puns, i dont know if translating german ones will do any good either.

You said you wouldn't cry over a kid's show. I'm glad you're enjoying yourself. Bumi is such a fun, insightful character. I hope his mad genius is never eclipsed.

I guess Aang and Bumi's relationship became a bit rocky there for a bit, eh... eh...

Lol, the eye twitch when aang decides to go faster xD this is stil one of my all time favourite episodes, I love bumi and I want to slide down that delivery system so bad.
